Disney Channel Games 2008???

If you look on disneychannelgames.com the dates for tapings is posted. I think Fanfest will be on May 2 because it says TBD (To be determined) and no games scheduled for April 30. Making sense if you pick up your tickets by the 30th the details will be in the envelope for May 2. Giving time for the remaining tickets to distributed to the waiting list so they can get a chance for Fanfest.

I think, if we have speculated correctly (about the concert ticket holders getting inside info about the fan fest) it would limit the crowd a lot, but there were a lot of people at the concert last year, a whole stadium and a whole "field area" full, so maybe it will be on the 30th just to limit even more people.

It would be really mean, but maybe the fan fest would be pretty long, giving people a chance to be like "Hey, there's a fanfest going on until 6, it's 5:30....RUN!" lol.

Anyone who is waiting until like one minute before the window closes on wednesday is just crazy! I would want to be sure those puppies were safe with me right away! I just can't get there until the 30th haha.

Maybe it'll end up being public, or first 100 people, or something random, though, who knows?

maybe even like how the first 20 rows at Jonas Concerts were given out this summer.

People waiting at the stadium (no matter if you're first or last) are given a number.

Then a number is drawn randomly (let's say 125)

The person with the number 125 would be the first allowed in, then they would continue letting people in (or getting tickets to the fanfest) in order (126, 127...etc)

Then the last person in line would be 124, and they might not even get a chance.

Who knows, maybe they will pick a random day of the games, and the people waiting outside, and just give them tickets or something.

It just occurred to me, someone reading might like this idea and decide to use it.

So, if you do, this board should get in first since we came up with it! Ha ha.

Their is filiming on April 30th its backups and minor things...Which i think are the opening cerimonies! Someone should post on here if they get any info of the fanfest with their concert tickets!

The first day of taping all of the stars arent there yet...just to let you know! Im detirmining whether to go on wednesday and see the fanfest (If there is one) or on tuesday!

I'll be there Thursday, definitely, from open to close.

Wednesday, if anything is going on, I'll probably be there.

If they end up doing something on Friday, I will go to that too.

And, of course, I'll definitely be there Saturday for the concert, but since I have field tickets I am still trying to figure out what time I should start to line up.

I am also trying to decide which day to watch games as this is our first trip to WDW which happens to coincide with the games. My daughters 7 and 13 can't believe our luck. Since this is a bonus to our vacation, I am looking at this as the glass being half full not half empty with regards to not being able to get tickets to the concert for my girls.
See, where we live in Canada, we would probably never have a Miley/Hannah Montana or Jonas brothers concert. So my girls would go out of their MINDS!!!just to see a disney channel star!! So I'm hoping that if there is a fanfest that it will be available to those who were unable to get tickets for the concert. Was there a fanfest last year?

No there wasnt a fanfest last year! I will be getting a lot more info about it this week!

Yeah, there wasn't a fanfest last year, but I went on the last day of filming last year (on Thursday, April 26, 2007) and it was pretty easy to see/get autographs from a TON of stars. It was a great time.
