Joed911 - I have tried to reply to your pm, due to my low post count, I don't think my reply goes thru.

Let's just say you are all having such fun speculating, that no matter what info I give, you all put arms and legs on it Just know I have only posted exact accurate info.

I hope to say hi to some of you at the ticket window, due to the many posts here, we have tried to alleviate some angst and try to clear up any misunderstood info. Don't overthink it, just go with the flow and enjoy.

OK,it is "arms and legs time"!LOLI think the key words in your post are "exact,accurate info".You have told us that there will not be a Fan Fest at MK,Epcot,DHS,DAK,or WWoS.That still leaves the WDW resorts,DTD,Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon! If there was not going to be a Fan Fest I think your "exact,accurate" info would have been:"There will not be a Fan Fest at DCG 2008". Thanks for visiting us and I CAN"T wait to find my All-Access Pass in my DCG Concert envelope!

Bummer... I figured since you have been so forthright in informing us you would never hold anything back. But a girl can hope!

DISNEY knows that most if not all the ticket will be picked up before the 30th because the demand for the tickets is so high and no ones will want to lose their tickets. Going the last min to pick the tickets up would be crazy.

Plus doing it this way will help keep crowds down and make a better fan fest for eveyone

So,the people who,for instance,drive over after they get off work Wednesday to pick up their tickets and don't get there until late Wednesday afternoon are just "out of luck"?I don't see that happening.That is just not the "Disney way".IF the Fan Fest tickets are tied to DCG Concert tickets the Friday "to be determined" date makes a lot more sense.

Hi all,

I am also trying to decide which day to watch games as this is our first trip to WDW which happens to coincide with the games. My daughters 7 and 13 can't believe our luck. Since this is a bonus to our vacation, I am looking at this as the glass being half full not half empty with regards to not being able to get tickets to the concert for my girls.
See, where we live in Canada, we would probably never have a Miley/Hannah Montana or Jonas brothers concert. So my girls would go out of their MINDS!!!just to see a disney channel star!! So I'm hoping that if there is a fanfest that it will be available to those who were unable to get tickets for the concert. Was there a fanfest last year?

I just want to assure you that if you go to the tapings one day,your daughters WILL see some Disney Channel Stars. There is really no way to know which ones they will see,but they WILL see some! You may start seeing them as soon as you enter Champion Stadium or it may take an hour or more,but just hang in there and you will see DCG STARS.It is really a fun atmosphere because everyone is so excited and when a DCG Star is spotted,the screaming begins!GREAT FUN!I also don't think that IF there is a Fan Fest,it will be limited to DCG Concert ticket holders ONLY!There are a lot of people in your situation and it would be TERRIBLE public relations for Disney to exclude people like you.This is just MY speculation.

I wouldn't be able to walk into a hotel I wasn't staying at without looking suspicious. I'd probably stand out like a sore thumb (how do they stand out anyways?) and they would kick me out right away!

I just wanted to clarify that this is just an "artist's rendering" of events you saw in Champion Stadium that you had produced from your memory after you left because we ALL know cameras were not allowed into Champion Stadium and that there were NO actual pictures taken.Is that correct?LOL

Of course. I am such an amazing artist, right? Well, the last two are real, cause we had our cameras in line, but then they just disappeared, so I had to recreate these pictures...from memory...on...adobe photoshop...yeah...
