Disney Channel Games 2008???

It is in NO way my intention to be confrontational with this post.The ONLY part of your post I want to respond to concerns the sale of DCG 2008 Concert tickets.There were several reasons so many people were "wigged out" by the attempted sale of DCG 2008 Concert tickets on ebay.First and foremost,the tickets were free.Also,many people "freaked out" because Disney clearly PROHIBITED the sale of the tickets,so Disney ALSO "wanted to do something about it".Lastly,the tickets were being advertised on ebay as for the "concert of the century" and the "only time you can see all of these acts together in concert".The "seller" failed to mention that the tickets were for a TELEVISION TAPING and not the "CONCERT OF THE CENTURY".For the record,I am not a proponent of selling concert tickets for more than face value,but I think the situation with the DCG 2008 Concert tickets and the situation with the JB tickets are two COMPLETELY different situations and I don't think the comparison is valid.This is just my opinion for what it is worth.

Ok, thank you for explaining this situation, I am starting to see and understand the difference in the two events. I agree with absolutely everything you said about the tickets about your time and making a little profit, i understand now. Thank you for explaining why you would do it, which is all i really wanted to know. And i am very sorry if you think my 'approach' was a little strong, I'm just not a 'fan' of scalpers, but i understand that you bought them for personal purposes not to just sell them. So i understand that fact now. Thanks for that. I didn't want my first post to be confrontational in my mind i was just answering your question. I'm sorry if you took it another way i had no intention of that happening.

I was just really curious what the response would be because i was not understanding what made this different from the dc games. And yes i have been following this board since about page 60. And stopped when the Disney channel games ended.

Once again thank you for clearing up the difference.

Pre-Production for Disney Channel's Camp Rock 2 will likely get underway shortly after the release of Camp Rock on June 20. Actual filming would not begin until early 2009. Also, I have been told that the Jonas Brothers will all share equal screen time in Camp Rock 2, and that the youngest of the family "Bonus Jonas" Frankie will make an appearance!

There will likely be open call auditions for dancers as there was for High School Musical 3.

The new People magazine only gives Camp Rock 2 stars. It praises Demi and Meaghan and is less enthusiastic about Joe's performance.

Honestly, I hope the JB don't get overexposed. Look at what's happening with Miley now - everyone is SICK of Hannah Montana merchandise, etc. I think Miley is very talented and I hope that she can get past her present issues. I hope the JB don't go overboard with merchandise and crap because I think that can be the kiss of death. I think they are very talented and that they need to be managed properly to make a long career instead of being just a boy band.

I'm already tired of the Disney side of Jonas. I love JB, but I don't watch Living the Dream and I'm not 100 percent looking forward to Camp Rock because they've been advertising it so much, and they're giving it this HUGE opening weekend roll out. What makes it so much different than the Cheetah movies, or HSM? Just the Jonas Brothers?

Every artist is at risk of over exposure to some degree I suppose.I just think that the exposure Disney and only Disney can offer a young artist far outweigh any risks.I think Aly and AJ are a good example of artists who have benefited greatly from ties with Disney without being "over Disney exposed".

For anyone who does not already know,the Disney Channel showing of Camp Rock Friday night will be "hosted" by the entire Cast and the ABC Wonderful World of Disney showing Saturday night will be "hosted" by JB.Also although CR is one and a half hours long it is scheduled for three hours on ABC Saturday night,so they must be going to also show a lot of interviews with the Cast,outtakes,behind the scenes info,etc.
