But Crusader, while the slot parlors are full of grammies dropping quarters, the casinos are counting on the serious big spenders. People who drop a million at a time. This is true even in AC.

The days of seniors dropping change at the casino have been long gone. They're dropping hundreds and hundreds. Now multiply that by the thousands of them invading the joint and you've swallowed the whale.

I remember watching a Vegas profile once, where several casino execs interviewed commented on how the whale adversely affected business. Way too costly to accomodate. The impression was that whenever they could pawn them off on their neighbor they would.

Perhaps the Disney Co is floating the casino question because they want to open one in Vegas or Atlantic city. These would NOT be marketed to children but to the millions of adults who love Disney. Imagine all the people who get married in Vegas by some bad Elvis impersonator. Wouldn't they rather get married in a Cinderella setting? Then gamble in Jaffars casino, have a drink in the House of Mouse? I think it would work...TAZ

But I guess I'm just old fashion. To me, Disney means one thing and Casino means another. I'd just prefer Disney not associate itself with the Casino industry. Disney is for families. Casinos are for adults.
