I recieved a call the other day from someone at the exec offices at Disney. She told me that she had 2 small boys and agreed about the lack of boy themed charactor meals. She said she would be passing on my comments to the proper department that does the research for this type of thing. :D At least I wasn't told that Disney doesn't take suggestions. So it seems that perhaps those of us who wrote letters did have some sort of impact. Thanks to everyone who wrote. Lets see what happens.;)

That's awesome..............I am a 35 year old male....and would love to see a "Toy Story" themed character 'something or another'.....................not to mention my little guy who (like most little boys) loves Buzz...............Keep the ball rolling.........I'm ( I should say we're) behind you..............

I do hope they do something for boys. My ds is at the age he still likes the charactors but doesn't want to admit it. A boy theme he could enjoy and still feel he's cool ;) LOL.

I received a letter from Disney thanking me for my suggestion but stating that they base these character meals on many factors and it doen't look like a Toy Story character meal will be in the near future. Oh well at least they acknowledged me.

Evidently, the Woody and Buzz costumes are among the most complicated in which to move/breathe according to a CM I met on my last trip (at Al's Toy Barn). That's why they are particularly hard to find, stand in one place, and don't do a lot of out-and-about meet and greets. I can't imagine why this would be the case, but it makes sense about why they don't have their own breakfast. Disappointing news.:(

Well, even if Woody and Buzz are not possible for a boys meal, there are other characters, especially face characters that can fit the bill. I know it was mentioned before, but an Adventurers meal would be well received I am sure. Hercules, Aladdin, Tarzan, Peter Pan, throw in some princes or other male heroes and tada.

Thanks for the news, at least their listening. My Ds loves Buzz and Woody and we'll be on the lookout.

It is great to see taht they are responding at least. I think it would be great to have another character meal.

About 8-10 years ago I went and MGM had Aladdin (with Genie, Jasmine, Esmarelda and the Hunchback). That at least appealed to boys a little more. It is a shame that they don't have more like that. Thanks for writing though...I think I will too.

My sons would be thrilled to have any boy themed character meal. They would probably never leave if they had Power Rangers at a character meal (or even just for meet and greet).

It would be wonderful to have a Toy Story breakfast. Maybe we should all keep the emails going.

I don't see how more interest could hurt. And I don't believe that Disney can't solve any costume related problems. I mean after all these charactors do the ice capades show. If they can fly around the ice doing flips I think they can handle a group of 3 yr olds at a meal. ( on second thought I've seen groups of 3 yr olds together ~ I don't think Superman could handle them when they are in a "mood" LOL)

I wish they had more charater meals that appealed to little boys. My DS (5) would love an Adventurers or Toy Story Meal. After all, he insisted on having all the figures from the DS, and there is no better super hero than Buzz Lightyear, in his opinion.
