Disney Bus Question

On our two previous trips we stayed at monorail hotels. This time we are at CSR due to dh attending a conference. (we wouldn't be going if it weren't for this conference! ) I just know very little about the Disney bus system. I can't remember if the buses from the resorts go directly to the MK or if you first have to board a monorail at that very busy Transportation station? (I don't know what exactly it's called. ) If I remember correctly, the only way to the MK is by monorail, or launch. (no bus directly) Correct me if I'm wrong.

Even for those folks driving a car, we always recommend taking the bus to MK from your resort! The buses drop you off very close to the park entrance...just beyond where the ferry drops you at. So, take your resort bus to MK...it's very handy!

AaaaHA! So we don't have to deal with the monorail at all if we take the resort bus? That's very good news! (not that we won't ride the monorail just for old time sake )
