Disney bus from AKL to MK - how long?

How long will it take to get from Animal Kingdom Lodge to the Magic Kingdom? If we want to be there at park opening, how much time should we allow if we're taking Disney transportation?

We stayed at AKL last summer (jambo house) and when we were at the bus stop by 8:10 we were at the parks by 8:40 at the latest. I think the actual ride time is about 18-20 minutes, it just depends on how long you wait for a bus. If you want to be there for the opening show, I'd say be at the bus stop about an hour before opening and you should be fine.

It's about 20 minutes or so. The total time depends on how long you have to wait for the bus. Like Dacky said, plan on being at the bus stop about an hour before the park opens.

Longest time from when the bus closed it doors and started to when we pulled up to the bus stop at MK for us was 16 mins. Quickest time was 12 mins. This does not include time waiting at AKL for the bus to arrive this was just drive time and was in April/May 2009.
