Disney Brides and Grooms - Occupations?

I am 27 and work at an advertising agency, doing traffic and copy editing (no one ever knows what traffic means; I didn't even know when I first got the job! Basically, I keep everyone on schedule). When I "grow up" though, I'd love to edit fulltime.

My boyfriend is in entertainment: he's a sound/lights technician but right now he's paying his dues at Universal AND Disney, doing lower-level tech stuff until he can move up. The pay sucks, but we get free passes all the time. He also works at SAK, the improv club where Wayne Brady started (it's their one claim to fame!). That's how we met, actually. I went to the shows all the time and eventually got to chatting up the cute tech boy.

Long time lurker on this particular board, hopefully one day WDW bride (when SO proposes!) but I had to comment because I'm so excited to see another Trafficker! Purplegirl, that's what I do, too!!

Um, so yes.. 25, trafficker/proofreader/backup-to-the-backup copy writer. SO's a 27 currently unemployed graphic designer/web designer/web programmer -- but he just had a second interview!!! *wishing for lots of pixie dust* I hope he gets that because w/o a job there's no way we're getting engaged, much less a WDW wedding!!

Both my fiance and I are teachers, hence we will be getting married in July of next year. We'll be disneymooning at WDW. It'll be hot and busy, but that doesn't really bother us.

I am soon-to-be 26 (my birthday is this coming Saturday, Oct 21!!) and I am the Senior Marketing Manager for the Broadway at the Academy series for the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia.

My DF (is that Disney Fiancee?!!) is 25 and is a Concierge at the Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia - which makes for FANTASTIC vacations.

I am 20 years old and am about a year and a half away from finishing my bachelor's degree for Secondary Ed (English emphasis). Dboyfriend is 21 and currently a manager at Safeway but when he grows up he is also thinking of becoming a high school history teacher...of course that is dependent on whether he ever grows up

hopefully getting married right before i start student teaching (so around Jan '08) or right after (summer '08 lol). still haven't decided if a Disney wedding is financially feasible...i'm leaning towards not since for some reason college student/$$$ don't seem to mix? i just don't get it

I'm 32 and currently am a Contractor Settlements Coordinator for a trucking company. But the good news is I start nursing school next year after a very long wait! My DF is 34 and is a mobile electronic specialist (audio/navigation installation and custom work).

We're both currently 29 (only 28 at our DFW). I am a Project Analyst for Eli Lilly and Company FCU. They are a global pharmaceutical company. I coordinate various technology projects as the lead analyst and the other 50 % of the time I handle web updates and maintenace.

My husband is a dept manager for Lowes' Home Improvement stores; where he just celebrated 10 years of service.

I think I am the youngest Disney Bride. Me and my DF are both about to graduate from High School and going to the same University. He will be studying TV/Film Directing. And I will be studying Business. I already have my Interior Decorating Certification.

I am 28 and an Interiro designer...I work for an architectural firm here in NY. My dh2b is 27 and he works for Bank of America as a personal banker/ finacial adviser and is finishing his degree in accounting.

It is very interesting to see the large variety of people but we all have one big thing in common

I'm currently a travel agent. I have been for a little over two years. Before that I worked for Norwegian Cruise Lines in the Group Reservations Department (which is where I met my DF).

He is a Forest Ranger/Firefighter for the Division of Forestry in the State of FL.

ok, first off, great to meet everyone else! and I think I may win for (ugh!) oldest bride ( not my first time though.)...STILL 49 , I am an Admin. Assistant for an accountant and also am starting my own digitizing/embroidery company. Have spent 13 previous years as an embroiderer and also 2 years as a NYC 911 dispatcher for the NYPD..

DF is 48 and also works for the NYC EMS/FDNY as a custodian....it pays the bills and in a couple of years we'll both we working the embroidery company. oh yes, I also teach the Defensive Driver course for NYS !

wishing lots of happiness to all brides - past, present and future.. we are getting married on Halloween 2007 and will be spending our honeymoon at....where else??!! lol....DISNEY !!

WOW, that is so neat that you work for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia at the Kimmel Center. My hubby and I live in Montgomery County and are not far at all from the Kimmel Center. In fact, we were just there this past Saturday night and go to see Congo Nation for the roots of Jazz series. We have tickets for every show in the series. Of course, we will give the tickets to a friend for the December 2nd show since we will be in WDW.

Very cool. Nice to see another person on here in the Philadelphia area!

That is the brand we specialize in...TRAXXAS!!! If you ever need anything (even if it is not listed on Ebay) please let me know. We do alot of special orders for customers and break down trucks and sell parts the parts. I will give you the best price I possibly can. We currently run a Jato, TMaxx and Stampede...DFi have broken his trucks in pieces too many times that I can count so I know your pain! $$$
