You are right Monica. I LOVE what you purchased. Believe me, best $30 spent. Now Hunter and I have the exact same crocs.

Of course I still didn't see any on your feet. I'm telling you, crocs and socks, the best due since Batman and Robin. But I don't have any turkey jibitz either. Might have to take care of that before next trip.

The pics are great. I'll have some upcoming in my TR of that special one at Pirates too. Mine aren't as cute though. My favorite out of this group is the one with Hunter and Megan holding Tink. I think it's amazing that Megan did this at her age. It's priceless.

My mom found the Photopass op near Crystal Palace. Even Dave was a big help spotting them!

Oh I didn't mean it that way at all! I was just trying to console myself!

We used one near Crystal Palace too but it must've been a different place ~ we didn't have that much greenery behind us. That is where we got our Tink pics too.

Oh I forgot to say that I think it is really funny that you had the same situation with Hunter and the crocs as we did with Abby... lucky you found some right there and did not have to set out on an expedition like we did!

Don't ya just love those bathrooms outside the CP? What's up with people not knowing about them? They are always empty, and huge! So many stalls! The restaurants have like 2! And I can totally relate to the 2 year old in the stall with you and saying/doing embarassing things!

Love the Rafiki, Timon, and Hook PP pictures! When Michael was 4, he would hum the "Never Smile at a Crocodile" song everytime he went to the bathroom! It was sooo funny! When he met Hook on our 2006 trip, Michael did his eyebrows up and down like Hook does when he hears the croc coming, and Hook got real scared too! So funny what they see through those costumes and then respond to!

I am a Croc convert too! Well, for my kids at least! They love theirs! It was hard to come off that much money for rubber shoes, but they actually hold up better than any of their other shoes anyway. I do have the Alice Mary Jane style, which I like, but I don't wear them much as I usually have some kind of heel on (even if it's small) - just more comfortable due to the arches in my feet! But I did wear my Mary Jane Crocs at Disney and gave them a big

Oh, and the octopus guy is Davy Jones! As in ""sent to Davy Jones' locker" which by the way, implies "death at sea". Just FYI...

Hey Pakey! I giggled when I saw your shoes in your report! No, I didn't go back and get any! The thing is the sandals that I took were very comfortable all summer and I wore them at amusement parks, etc and did great. The problem was that I got my feet wet the 1st night which did me in. I alternated back and forth sandals/ gym shoes the whole trip. I was even changing my shoes mid day.

DON'T BUY THE JIBITZ! I didn't mention this yet, but both of Hunter's had popped out and were gone w/in 2 hours! I don't know if they just don't fit right in the Mickey head or what, but I was not happy!

Well, it was my own fault. Since it was winter we didn't have any sandals for him. I had him try on his summer sandals before we left and he said they fit, but not after he walked in them awhile. I should have known. As long as he gets some use out of them its OK. I bought a size up so hopefully he can wear them this summer! If not, then I'll be !

My mom had those taken all on her own while I was checking us in! I was so proud of her!

I couldn't believe that you mentioned those bathrooms in your report too! Only us goofy moms would report on the bathroom situation at Disney!

Thanks for the POC info! I have seen the movie, but I have ADD when it comes to paying attention to movies and details like names, etc! So who's the guy with a name that starts with a "B"? The other bad guy? I was a mess tryng to keep up with the names in Lord of the Rings! Dave loves these so we saw them at the theater. I always left asking a million questions cause I just can't follow those comlicated names and plots! Especially if there's a hottie in the movie! Who's paying attention to the name of the ugly guy with an octopus growing out of his face?!

About the jibbitz... I have heard that they do fall out of the mickey head crocs! Abby's are regular ones and her's are jammed in there so tight it is hard to get them out and move them around. They should make bigger ones for the mickey crocs... or at least tell you when you buy them they aren't going to stay in there. I'd be mad too... they aren't cheap!

It's funny how people value things so differently. I think crocs are cheap! For the heaven they provide me when I wear them, I think they are well worth the 30 bucks. Maybe for a kids foot it is a little steep, but trust me I'm sure he will wear the heck out of them this summer.

It makes me mad that the CM's at Disney do not tell you that Jibits do not work in the mickey head crocs! I can verify that they do work in the non-mickey head crocs. I have been told that they are supposed to fit in the kids Mickey versions, but I have heard many on the boards say they fell out of those too.

Overall another great update. I can't get enough of the MK, so keep draggin it out, I won't mind.

Well, normally Hunter goes through a pair of shoes in about 2-3 months so spending $30 for shoes for him is crazy! He either wears them out or grows out of them. I have so many pairs of nice dress shoes that look like they've barely been worn because he grew out of them so fast. On the other hand his gym shoes are worn out in 2 months. That could cost me approx $500-$600 in shoes for my kids in one year if I spent $30 per pair! No thanks! That's a good downpayment on a Disney vacation!

Wow, you had blisters already? That stinks! I hate walking around suffering with stupid blisters on my heels. It totally ruins the day. I'm glad Hunter finally got his crocs. My kids both have them, but they're not big fans. I have them. I think they are the most God awful ugly things on the planet. But they saved my feet at Disney. They were definitely a good investment. Even if I don't wear them at home. But I know my feet aren't gonna grow anymore, so I'll just put them away for next time. I'm not there to impress anybody, right?

Actually, I don't give into whining! His feet hurt though and I knew how he felt! I'm worse than the kids at Disney. I buy them stuff they don't even ask for! "Are you sure you don't want this?!" He already is familiar with the DIS. He knows my screen name and likes to look at everyones siggies. When he learns how to PM you'll be the first one Pakey! He's sure to give you an earful! (Well, I guess it would be eyeful!)

I think the generic crocs are a lot different than the real thing. That's why you pay $30 for the crocs compared to - what, like $7 for the plastic things. I honestly thought my feet would sweat in the crocs and I wouldn't like them, but they turned out to be a lifesaver. Even if they were ugly as sin.

Tell Hunter good luck tonight. Are you posting the video here or on your talk too much thread? I'll have to get in on that one one of these days. I'll feel like the outcast for joining in so late, though.

Well, I have a pretty low tolerance for pain. (Except when having babies. Then I do pretty well!) So, I'd probably jump up at first touch with the needle! Dave has a VERY HIGH pain tolerance and he was flinching when they got to the under side of his arm. He said it hurt.

We have the same problem here in Pennsylvania with the wind today. And its snowing like crazy. Joe's pager keeps going off for telephone wires down and car accidents. Its getting annoying. I can't wait for summer.

Photobucket will let you upload videos as long as they're under 5 minutes and under 100 megabytes. Usually they have to be pretty short to be under 100 MB. If they're longer than that, you're better off uploading them to youtube. You upload them the same way you do photos on photobucket, just click on the video tab instead of the images from my pc tab. It takes a long time to upload.

Barbosa is the guy with the "B" name - he is played by Geoffrey Rush. I agree with the hottie thing! The rest don't stand a chance.

Lord of the Rings (and the Star Wars movies) are tough for me too! I just try to think of the basic good vs. evil type things and can't get caught up in figuring out who is who! I just think going to the movies would lose its appeal to me if I had to take notes the whole time!
