disney backstage tours

[disneyholic family]

Anyone been on any of the backstage tours at disney recently?

I'm specifically thinking of doing:
--Backstage Magic
--The Undiscovered Future World
--Backstage Safari

all comments and suggestions would be appreciated!!

we did backstage magic in 2008. it was ok, i loved seeing the backstage cast areas, the utilidors were cool, and the lunch was good, but we spent an hour in the back of american adventure , and 2 HOURS in the laundrette
to be honest, we're glad we did it because we'd have wondered what if otherwise, but would not do it again.
now divequest, thats another thing entirely (you have to be scuba certified) but we've done that twice, and will do it again next time and probably every visit after that.

thanks! i was thinking of doing some tours this time as i'll be there on my own..
DS is planning on doing divequest the next time he goes, but i'm not scuba certified so that's out for me..
i wonder how the dolphins in depth is...

you can do the aqua tour, its like divequest but you're not weighted so you cant go under the surface.
its sooooo much fun though, its cool being inside the living seas and being able to interact with the guests is really fun too

We did Undiscovered Future World and Dolphins In Depth last Septmber and DH is doing Backstage Magic this trip (have done it before in 2006 & 2007).

We both enjoyed the tours we did last September they were both interesting however the one I really want to do again is Dolphins. I really enjoyed and I love Dolphins

Undiscovered Furture World had some really interesting information just not enough to do it again in a hurry.

We have also done Keys to the Kingdom and that was good as well.

We haven't been a tour were we haven't learnt something new however all tours rely on you getting a good guide and unfortunatley there is now way to guarentee that.

We have done backstage magic, backstage safari and a few of the segway tours. We really enjoyed the backstage magic although I believe they have changed it since we went on it. We did the backstage safari last year and loved it. We got to see many animals in their backstage homes, saw some elephants in training so they can recieve their vet checks, petted some rhinos and did the safari ride in a different way (they explained how the animals were kept seperate, pointed out where the animals entered their section of the ride from their backstage homes etc.)

Next trip we want to do the off road segway tour, that looks fun!
