Disney at Christmas?

We went to Disney last October and had a blast!! I am ready to go back but the only time we'll be able to go is on Christmas break. Would I be shooting myself in the foot to go during that time because of the crowds? Also, if I book a trip, what is the cheapest way to do that? Through AAA? Through a travel agent? Any advice will be grealty appreciated!!

we went to wdw for christmas lasy year instead of having a reg christmas and we loved it...we took a christmas tree, made a mickey wreath.....we went the week befor and left 3 days befor christmas and it was not crowded at all and the weather was great.we saved all the money we would have spent on presents and got the kids extra stuff then put one or two gifts under the tree for christmas day for when we got back.We are having a reg christmas at home this year but i think next year we are going to do it again.

We booked through AAA and got a real good deal, we are going the week before Christmas.

Were you able to get discounts on a Disney resort hotel (on property)and tickets or just tickets? Did you call AAA or order online?

Sorry for so many questions...I just read something about a teacher discount...How do I get that? I am a teacher.

Hi 1Kristy1,
If I were you I would call Disney right away if you think you are going to find a room for this Christmas. That is the busiest time of year and I hope you havent waited too late. The Swan/Dolphin give teacher discounts but it might be too late for that as well. Also trying to get dining reservations could be hairy as well. Good Luck

Also, Beth is right...you really need to get moving on booking flights (if applicable), a room, and dining reservations.
