Hello Everyone,

I am a newbie on this board. I have been tooling around the site some. I thought I would post this in case there was a kind sole who could point me in the right direction quickly.

I am planning on taking my family to Disney in Florida for Christmas. Tentatively, we are flying down Dec 24 and staying a week. Right away I know this is the busiest time of the year, but it looks as though it would be pretty special. We have been to DW before and are familiar with how to navigate the places and understand the importance of planning, reservations and knowing what is happening, although we have timed it in the past to go off peak, so it was really a breeze. Also its been 8 years since we have gone, so I know lots has changed in regard to "fast pass" and ride waits.

So here are my questions- is there a definitive thread for "Christmas at Disney" That would answer all my questions?

The most major question is- Will my family (wife, two kids 14 and 16) be able to enjoy the parks and rides at this time of the year if we plan properly? Or is it too much of a cattle call to enjoy it?

The PP is right about the crowds, that's for sure. I will point out the obvious though, in that you'll at least be able to utilize your three fast passes a day to ride some headliners without a horrendous wait. It sounds like you will be staying on property. If so, you can book the FPs 60 days out and get some reasonable time slots.

Thanks a bunch, I haven't scratched the surface of the survival guide thread but it looks like just the thing I was looking for.
