Gail-
Adorable card! Thank you! I'll show it to him as soon as he gets up:D He'll love it!

Hope Dylan's foot feels better this morning. I think he should go to school and club the boy who stepped on his sore foot with it!

The offer last night wasn't bad, but still not exactly what we wanted. The realtor is working both sides against the middle to get one of the two developers to come closer to our terms. We have one full price offer, but he wants us to keep on the hook for 9-12 months. We can't do that. The other is for a lesser amount of money, but is willing to close within 5 months. He needs to get his bank letter though yet, so we wont sign anything until we have that. Kind of the difference between a big developer and a small one.

Good morning all... busy morning here at least for me, so stopping in quickly.

Lars, I hope that Dylan can sleep for a very long time today. Good luck with everything!!

Hi Gail & Kimmar :)

Diane, glad to hear it wasn't a terrible offer. I hope that you can get a good deal going with them. Good luck!

WIth that, gotta check one more thing then I am off to dive into my work.

Lars, I got really steamed when I read about Dylan's foot! I can't believe the school just gave him ice and sent him back to class. In my book, ignoring a kid who is hurting bad is inviting a law suit! Maybe they need a working-over by the angels? ;) Hope he sleeps a while, too. What a day he must have had.

Diane, sorry the offer wasn't what you had hoped. Good luck with your schedule for the day. Sounds like a busy one.

Kimmar, that sounds like a fun job. Hope he has a good time with it.

Elaine, I could loan you my kids once in a while if you need something to talk about. They sure keep my schdule hopping and laughing, too.

Marsha, I like the sound of that job. Sounds like it may be fun.

Next Monday sounds fun. Will someone remind me after the weekend? Lack of sleep all weekend may make slower than usual that day. I'll look at the calendar, but I don't think I have anything planned.

David gets to go to school at 7:45 this morning, so we got to "sleep in". That's a laugh. I could sleep all day if I had the chance. These early mornings are getting to me.

I have to hit the grocery for supplies for the Jr. High girls and make two breakfasts that I can just pop in the oven. Don't feel like cooking with no sleep. How does baked french toast with strawberries and whipped cream and breakfast pizza sound? Thought I'd have juice and a fruit bowl with both days? We thought we'd do pigs in a blanket one night and ice cream sandwiches the other.

Later ladies.

Morning Angels!:D

Lars - {{{hugs}}} for Dylan. Some kids are so rotten in school, I'm willing to go beat them up!

Diane - good luck w/ the offers.

MP - I'm not a strawberry person, but I'm sure the kids will love the breakfast.

Hi E, Gail, Kimmar and Steph!

Gotta give my DD a bath now - taking her for her 4 yr.old picture at Sears today. TTYL!

Hello Angels.

Lars, give Dylan a hug from Auntie Carol. If he needs crutch instruction, let me know. Maybe he can accidentally let his crutch trip one of the meanies that stomped on his foot.

MP. sounds like good meal ideas. I have a really easy egg casserole that you make the night before and just stick in the oven in the morning, if you want it.

Kinmar, a teenage boy as a Ghoul. Should be an easy job.

We figured out the calculator/computer problem, I hope. The conector cable seems not to work. DD tried her calc with another cable and that worked, but her cable with another calc did not. Now to try to figured out how to get a new cable.

See you all later.

Sure, they have so many ghoulfriends to learn from! ;)

Hi all!

You know with you all offering to loan me their kids, I'm beginning to wonder if there is a catch to this :p I only said it though, because I'd love to talk more about some of the school stuff and halloween stuff you all were talking about.

Merry, sounds like some great food you have there!!! Somehow you made me craving for waffles though now (not a french toast fan so that's what I always think of when others say it). I think you'll have happy eaters :)

Carol, I like your idea of payback for Dylan. I bet he'll be awfully clumsy with those crutches for a while... "accidents" do happen you know ;) It still steams me to think about what they did

Oh and Carol, good luck with the calculator! Could you try to return it at this point?

Alan :teeth: You're silly :p

Laura, I am amazed at the school allowing him to go back to class, I broke a bone in my foot once and it tirned black and swelled. Of course, I thought it was sprained and limped around for a week on it, by the time I got to the Dr to have it looked at, they said, too late, it had already started to heal, and there was no reason to cast it, so my stupidity. But no lasting harm done. I hope your boy gets to feeling better, and I too vote for the crutch trip!

Merry, breakfast pizza sounds yummy.

SB - I knew there was a reason I liked you.........I hate strwberries, too!

Kimmar, Haunted houses are cool. I haven't been to one since probably 1990.

Alan, you crack me up.

Carol, I hate when the cables are bad. If it cam with the calculator, can you call an 800 number for the manufacturer and get a replacement sent?

Diane - sheesh!!! I would go for the one who gets me the $ soonest, and hopefully the timing will work. A year is a long time.

Gail - Happy Friday

Steph - vacation is getting so close. I loce the bunnies, too. I forgot to tell you.

Well who did I miss? I need to hop in the shower, iron a blouse and get to work. Training today so I will be prepared on Monday.

Have a good day, see you all later.

Morning! Everyone has been so chatty since I last checked in!

Poor Dylan! I am so mad about what those other kids did to him. Were they older kids or kids in his grade? I think someone needs to talk to them about what they did to him. I hate kids who bully other kids.

Carol, that breakfast casserole sounds yummy. Would you please e-mail me the recipe?

I hope the weather isn't too rainy this weekend. DH and DD have a father/daughter Girl Scout camping weekend. DS and I will be bonding too - Pack meeting tonight, going to see SB's DS play soccer tomorrow, then taking my mom out to dinner for her birthday, then going to see another nephew march in a band festival at night.

Good news with my exercise classes - I've actually lost 5 pounds! It's nice to see the scale going the opposite way for once!

If anyone has any easy ideas for the kids for Halloween, please let me know. We always wait until the last minute. Leah's costume was easy last year - we glued her play food to a tray and she was a waitress, complete with a big piece of gum to "chaw" on.

I'd love the breakfast casserole recipe. If I don't use it this time, I'll try it out on my family some Sunday morning! I forgot to mention that if anyone doesn't want strawberries, they can do the baked french toast with syrup. I'll have that on hand too. If they don't like either, I guess they can eat fruit. Maybe I'll hard boil a few eggs just in case or warm up some of the pigs in a blanket from tonight.

David doesn't dress up for Halloween anymore, unless someone has a party. Amy still likes to dress up for school, but didn't trick-or-treat last year. She went to a party. Anyway, she thinks she wants to wear a black robe over a white shirt and striped tie. We'll braid her hair wet the night before and brush it out in the morning. Then we'll have Hermione from the Harry Potter books. Sounds pretty easy to me. We already have a gown from her daddy's graduation, so I just have to come up with a shirt and red and gold striped tie. Guess I'd better hit goodwill. ;)

One year I dressed David up in striped tights  (don't tell him I told this!) and the same black robe. We put a witch hat with ugly long hair on his head and painted his skin green. Amy wore a blue and white gingham jumper and red sparkling shoes. She carried a wicker basket with a stuffed dog in it and David carried a broom. NO ONE could guess who he was and his sister was obviously with him! It was too funny! And he had fun doing the "I'll get you my pretty" type lines all evening. I ought to try to find his picture. It was a classic and really easy.

LK, I'm hoping for no rain, too.

DBF and I may go out as Kim and Ron with a stuffed Rufus in a Taco Bell bag

When we eat breakfast cassaroles it is always grits, eggs, and sausage with cheese melted over the top!

YUM-YUM!!!!

Mmmm. I love grits, but we seldom eat them. I've never had them in a breakfast casserole, but I bet it's good.

The breakfast casserole sounds yummy!

Alan - never tried grits and don't intend to - they don't look to appealing.

eeeww...grits.....(nothing personal...but I'm a northern girl....:) )

how about red flannel hash with poached eggs on top??

not for a crowd or anything, just all this breakfast talk made me hungry for "breakfast for dinner" one of my families favorite meals!!!!

Okay angels, I need some advice.......

HOW do you get an 11 yo boy to become more organized???????

Patrick had his SECOND yellow sheet (missing homework) come home today. He does the work, but for whatever reason, it becomes missing between here and there.......maybe I'm the world's worst mother, but I CANNOT sit over him the entire 2 hours each night that he spends on homework. Do I physically have to pack his bag for him each morning??? And what exactly will THAT teach him?????

this is driving me bonkers.........
