Lars, just always carry a book incase you have to sit waiting somewhere. I thought I ran enough with 2 kids. Three is worse.

I don't have to worry about Halloween anymore. I don't allow the kids to trick or treat because they are too old. And, it is a Friday night this year so we will be at the football game. No one here to give out candy either.

I am up for a chat Monday night. We need the gossip time. Anyone else in?

Today, I was in the local grocery store, depositing some $ in my bank, boy I love that bank in the store thing, and after I was wandering, looking at the Halloween things, and what did I spy, but NEON GREEN pumpkins. Battery operated, light up ones. Large and small. They were too cute. I did not buy any tho, I have 2 Mickey pumpkins, and that is enough.

I start work tomorrow, for 3 to 6 hours of training. Should be fun. At least I get paid for it. I wonder what the new boss will say when I ask for election day off, I gotta work the poll. That pays $125.00 for the day, no tax!

If any of you angels feel the need for a lime green battery operated light up pumpkin, let me know, I'll pick them up over the weekend and send them.

E, you do not need children to talk here, after all, mine is as old as your DH, so I don't give him too much press. Heaven knows he trys my patience, even 2000 miles away. Besides, you have fur babies, and they count.

Gail, I did homework in MAy with my 4th grade at the time nephew. The got at least 2 hours worth a night, th grade time, 45 minutes adult time.

I am having dinner with my old boss tonight. She was one of, if not the best boss I have ever had. Sh sent me to WDW 5 times for training, how cool was that? DH has a side job, he wants to have a date night tomorrow. Like that will happen.......

If I am late for chat Monday, its cause I have to work till 6pm, but hopefully not that day!

Now it's back to copying internet pictures for Matt's food web. I'll bet I'm the only one who knows what zooplankton looks like!!!

Hi All!
Dylan walked home from school today & told me he had jumped off of something on the playgrouond & hurt his foot. He went to the office & they gave him ice & sent him back to class. He walked the rest of the day limping & a few mean spirited boys stepped on his foot cause it hurt He is NOT a pain wimp so if he says something hurts you know it REALLY HURTS! He told me we needed to go to Urgent Care because he thoguht he had broken it................................we did.....................he was right!!! It's a buckle type of break in the foot He is in a non-weight bearing fiberglass cast and he can't put his foot down at all & he acn't get it wet.

Lars, so sorry about Dylan's foot I hope it heals up quickly and that he isn't in too much pain.

My 15-yr-o DS got a new job!! (as the crowd chants together:What kind of job??) He is gonna be a GHOUL in this haunted house attraction at a local produce farm (DePiero Farms in Montvale)!! Pretty cool, huh?? And, he's gonna make $7/hour.

...but in case there are any other NJ'ers out there, it's located next to Mercedes-Benz HQ off exit 172 of the Garden State Pkwy. You can go pun'kin pickin', drink fresh apple "spider" (errr, cider!), and they have the most DEE-LISH home baked pies!! (I think they also used to sell Yankee Candles!)

I know where Montvale is too .... when I was growing up one of my "vacation friends" lived there and we used to write back and forth during the year ..... hope your son has fun with it Kimmar!
