Raining here too....I was up at 3:30,but managed to convince myself to go back to sleep for a few hours...until DH bumped the bed getting into his bureau.

I haven't seen Bernie in a while... he was "online" with AIM yesterday but didn't reply to the message I sent him. I hope he is okay.

I think you all on the East Coast ought to come visit here this week... supposedly lovely weather is headed our way. I really do pray that the storm will die down as it works its way north. Our weather guy this morning sounded optimistic that it might lose a lot of its power.

Good morning Angels.

It is beautiful here today after all the rain and flooding yesterday. What is they say about "the calm before the storm." I am not too worried about our safety here. I will bring in the grill and loose things like that but otherwise, I expect to be fine. I do worry about those right on the coast in NC. That is where we vacation each year.

It seems like we have had a quiet hurricane season on the Gulf Coast. I hope everyone does well with the storm itself and all the rain that comes with it.

We are still having terrific weather here. There was actually a nip in the air when I went out this morning. We are having highs in the upper 80's and lows around 59!

Last night was a grill night; we had hamburgers, sausage, and ribs.

You know I was working on something when this hit me... I found the DIS and the boards that went with 5 years ago today. I didn't post for quite some time as I mostly was using the DIS for research... of course back then it was known as the Disney Information Station... best thing I ever found!!!

Nip in the air Alan? We have that here too... it was 50 when I left for work and the highs are only in the 70s today... I think fall is on its way

Good Morning All!

Happy Dis-Anniversary Elaine!

Dylan had me up during the night with a tummy ache. He never complains & he has a very high pain tolerance so I am a little concerned about him today. I kept him home from school today so I don't think I'll be going to the hospital this morning I tried to call her but there was no answer....she's either showering or having one of the tests.

My prayers are with all of you in the path of Isabel!!

He said nothing about BBQ, Lars. In the south BBQ is what you eat, not what you do. WHen I worked in Georgia, our office decided to cook out lunch one day (11 people in the whole office) and there was one little girl from Wisconsin, she asked David, who was a GA native, what are we going to barbeque? He looked at he like she had 3 heads. Talk about a clash of cultures We all learned then that we grill burgers, dogs and the like, and we eat barbeque, which is usually pork shoulder slow smoked and chopped, sause on the side.

Gotta get some breakfast, DH has to go to the Dept of Revenue and get our state sales tax license bond exemption straightened out. He is still here! Ah, the joys of owning your own business.
