Hi all Went shopping today so I didn't get much chance to check in.

Lorraine, I hope you all had fun at the game!!! And I am feeling better, thanks. Just allergies doing terrible right now.

Merry, I love this time of year with the weather too!! Unfortunately it is raining now, but I am hopeful for a clearing so I can go for a walk

Gail, thanks for that weather report... I like to watch where they go so that they miss out on my family & friends I hope that it keeps going more North and stays out to sea.

Lars, yes they did have the Community Day, and it was nice. You are a good friend to visit in the hospital like that. I hope your friend improves quickly.

I went to church today too. And the associate pastor preached so I enjoyed the service.

Think we are supposed to get rain today. Makes good napping weather though!

The Pirates lost yesterday, but we had our fill of nachos, hot dogs, popcorn, and peanuts! The passout was kids long sleave t-shirts which are really nice. In the bottom of the 6th inning, they launch out t-shirts to the crowd, and I was able to grab one! That was the first time I ever got anything. Never in 35 years have I even come close to getting a baseball!

Good Morning, Ladies! I don't get here often....but I figured I'd stop by and say, "Howdy".

SB....I love the term "passout". At our stadium, they always say.....passout and return is strictly forbidden". We always howl at the thought of it.....passing out and waking up. Yeah, I know, we're a sick bunch.

We call stuff they pass out "giveaways". Don't ask me why. Though in your case I guess they would be "throwaways" or something silly like that.

Hurricane Isabel seems to want us badly. I need to go stock up on some canned goods and check the water supply in the cellar. I'm really not in the mood for all of this. Mother Nature sure does know how to throw a party but I wish she'd do it elsewhere this year.....

I've been for my morning walk. I've got to get rid of some of this weight, so I've started walking. It's working for my DH, so I'm giving it a try. The weather is beautiful again today. So sorry that some of you have dreary weather.

I have a recruiter interview tomorrow. I guess I need to spend some time padding, er I mean honing, my resume. And what should I wear???? A dress, nice pants, what about my hair, down or up? Sheesh, this could make me nuts, but it won't.
