It appears to be part of Ebay, and I don't do Ebay. I lost a lot of money through them a couple years ago, and their "standing behind" their clients is a joke. I had to file a mail fraud complaint, and because the guy lived out of the country and gave a false address, there was nothing that could be done.

Disneydeals is the e-bay branch of the Disney Store. I can tell you however, that whenever you order through them, you actually get a confirmation from disney, and you pay via cc to disney.

I can understand your position...some people give e-bay a bad name, I really think you'd be pleased with disneydeals though....JMHO

Hiya All....

Well, again I don't want to jinx it but we've had a very successful/promising visit to the property we want to buy tonight! Basically the person who has offered more than us cannot sell their property so have offered to *rent* the house from the vendor until she can sell hers... but the seller does not want to get into such a complicated arrangement, esp. when she is unsure how long this other property would take to sell!

The fact that we have sold ours to a first time buyer (i.e. no chain) who already has a mortgage agreed really was a good bargaining chip! She has one other person booked to see it on Saturday and so to be fair to them she didn't want to say 'Yes' to us tonight but did say if we can ring her perhaps tomorrow evening and prove we have no problem getting a mortgage (my financial adviser has already said this will be no trouble so perhaps I can get him to put it in writing or speed up the process) then she will ring this other person and say 'sorry, but I've sold it' !!! Yay!!!

Therefore DBF and I are very pleased but I have to say will be very busy over the next 6 wks/2 mths... but of course I'll still have time to DIS

Diane - Sorry to hear that you had so much trouble with Ebay... I go through phases of using it a lot and *touch wood* have not had any real troubles.

I survived the first day of grade six

My class is GREAT!! I only have 2 students that need a bit of guidance in the staying on task department. Not bad for a class of 29!

I am pooped though....I think it will take a bit to get back in the routine!

Oh...Our class motto (that the students came up with) is SMILE!

DW just called to say that another local pastor saw her perform Friday night. She had sang/sung(?) at his church years ago and he could not remember how to get in touch with her since his music minister had moved and he couldn't remember her name.

Apparently he asked someone, because they are having Homecoming this weekend and their musical act just cancelled. He is convinced that seeing her was an act of God (or dumb luck for a desperate pastor ) and asked if she could fill in on short notice.

She has been talking about getting more involved in music, so it looks like that ball may be rolling....

Sounds like Mrs. AA has quite the voice. I would like to hear her sing.

DS spoke to his physics teacher today and she is going to have an idea for a project for him tomorrow. He is one of 2 sophomores in a class of juniors and seniors and I think that has him a little overwelmed.

I guess we are starting hurricane watch here. I hope no school is missed because of it.

Diane, I do feel like I am making some progress on my lower back. I am not entirely sure what we will be doing about my upper back but I have a feeling that will be trickier. But he has me feeling decent now... to a point where I could ingore how I feel most of the time. Glad to hear that you feel like you have been making progress. I hope the doc has helpful results for you!

Sandi, we just got done with another downpour. I know this has been helping my allergies some, but still... I hope we get rid of this rain soon!!!

Sounds like a lot of allergy sufferers out here I am on Claritin year round now, so this time of year always seems to be the worst. I almost can't wait for fall
