Hi gang!
Just back from dinner at Olive Garden, including 2 glasses of wine, and no, I didn't ask for a senior citizen discount!!!
SIL & BIL are here but I wanted to check in before the boards disappear for a while.
Tomorrow is our first official meet, at Alex's house in Plymouth. Looking forward to it but a bit nervous too. Hope the weather stays nice so the kids can swim.

I've been lucky enough to talk to quite a few DIS-ers, but the only one I've met so far is Gina and I sure picked a nice person for my first meet!!!!

What a time I have been having since I got home. No rest for the weary. I had a job interview on Thursday morning at (am, after getting in at 11:46 pm the night before. I did not get the job (16 hrs a week, what was I thinking anyway?) and my body is still trying to decide what time zone I am in. After being home over a week, I finally have a few minutes of quiet, DH is off at the tattoo shop getting some fill in, the dogs are snoring, so at last!!!

I am sorry that you all missed me. I told someone I was going to be gone for a while, I guess it was a non angel! I am trying to concentrate on getting something for work, and redecorating the master BR. Lots of sewing to do for that. I probably will not be here much for a few more weeks, I need to get with the Resource Center at AT&T to get my "professional resume" written (hey, it's free) so who knows how many hours that will take. And my last payroll (active employee) was issued with all the standard in advance deductions, so today I had to get someone to open an inquiry to get those $ refunded. I got paid once a month at the end of the month, so the deductions in June were for July, and I was retired in July so they should not have taken them. My severance check was over paid by more than 10K, I had to pay that back (I knew it was wrong, but I wish no one else did), and my pension check today was less the 1/2 of what it should have been because they decided to with hold 3 months worth of insurance deductions instead of sending me a bill like they were supposed to. Sheesh, I am glad I have money in the bank!

Too much to catch up on and comment on, except, Gail, my DMIL gave me AARP for my birthday this year, wasn't that special???

I will try to check in periodically, I need less DIS time and more get what needs to be done, done time. Everyone , have a great weekend, Melissa a great trip, CS good luck in school, Moms, school's in, peace and quiet at home. Diane, keep resting when you can, what did I miss???? Oh a new MWLT, SHep!!!! Alan, keep Mrs AA warm.

I'm suppossed to head up the lake today, but this weather doesn't seem to cooperative. I'll be back tomorrow morning. I have a cookout on Sunday to go to and one on Monday also. (and it's suppossed to rain both days!!)

DD leaves Monday to head back to Philly to school. I'm not ready to say goodbye again.

I've been running like mad! We went to Camelbeach....a wonderful waterpark in the Poconos. Spent one evening and the whole next day there.....then rushed home for the Swim Team Dance ...... and a PTO meeting! Yesterday was a sit on my butt day....but I guess I need to get this house CLEANED UP! It looks like a cyclone struck!

Oh....and we rented LOTR Two Towers! Yummo!

Kind of overcast and muggy here but no sign of rain so keep those fingers crossed!!! EB has a soccer round-robin then we head to Plymouth.

Getting ready to head to the beach for the day. I'll be at Cape Henlopen State Park in Delaware if anyone wants to meet me there. I'll be in a blue tankini in a yellow sand chair reading The Secret Life of Bees.

Yep Sandi, I was up kind of late. It was storming until about 3 am last night. By then it was just sort of raining... a nice steady one though. I haven't stepped outside yet but it looks overcast and a little drizzly here though. Doesn't sound too hopeful for you guys with weather today then. Hopefully it will clear up, and soon!

Gina, enjoy watching LOTR: TT! Luis was just watching that last night... or was it the 1st... I dunno. Anyway enjoy the weekend

Morning Carol, I heard that P. Michelle had been talking with Maggie and they are fine. I presume life just got in the way for them. They did have a busy August though! Enjoy your day at the beach!!!

Well I don't have anything fun or exciting to do today. I might head to the mall just to look around. Later on is the Ohio State game which ought to be interesting. Off to do some stretching and waking up
