I think I should change my name from Miss Communicate to Miss Klutz...or maybe Mrs. Klutz. Just got back from school and the big excitement in the schoolyard other than the kids finding out their new classes was that I took an ungraceful fall!!! I stepped on a rock and.......well, imagine the rest.

Matt has the teacher he wanted and has a good group of his friends in the same class. Their group is so large they added another teacher just to cover the 6th grade so there's someone new in the school this year. He wasn't so cool that he couldn't say hi to his mom but he did keep his distance after I fell.

EB did not get the teacher that she (and I) wanted but that's just a minor inconvenience. She's got some long-time friends in the class and she'll be just fine.

The gown is breathtaking Sandi!!!

An angel calendar....with uniforms....I don't think so Steph!!!

Sounds like a good year coming up for your kids, Gail!

We went out to the new house yesterday after we got home, and a lot went on out there while we were gone! Most of the rough landscape is done, and they put rocks on the banks to prevent washout. The sheetrock taper is done, and they are preparing the logs for finishing inside and out. The fireplace was even started!

Gail, I'm good at those klutzy moves myself. Are you okay? I bet your face was red.

Carol, David's swim coach wants the team to do weight training. Two members of the team have to be at marching band practice, so they were discussing having it at 5:30 in the morning. I'm hoping it was an unpopular idea. David is thinking of going to the Y with Allen and doing his weight training there if that's okay with the coach. I've got my fingers crossed. Getting up at 4:30 doesn't appeal to me in the least!

Do let us know about Marsha. I'm getting a little concerned.

I keep making my bed as soon as Allen is out of it. It discourages me from crawling back in. Last night I got 7 hours sleep, and I actually feel a little better today. I just don't function very well when I only get 5 or 6 hours.

The sun is shining today. It's already really humid due to yesterday's rain. In a couple of days it's supposed to cool off a little. Hope that means an early end to all the heat, but I doubt it.

Amy and I get to use the OU football tickets this Saturday. We have fantastic tickets, but I seldom get to go. Allen and David always go together. Anyway they are working concessions for Scouts this Saturday night, so I get to go to the game. I'm so excited, but cross your fingers for me. We have 100% chance of rain, so it might be absolutely miserable. I hope not.

I'll try to check back later. So far today the computer is working fine. Knock on wood! Have a great day!

Poor Gail! Did your kids turn around and ignore you? That reminds me of the commercial where the mom doesn't have a car and runs up to the school blowing a big air horn, and the daughter tells her friend "That's not my mom".

I found Marsha. She's home, and fine! She's concentrating on finding a job, so won't be on-line while she is working on that project. She was filling out job apps. while we were on the phone!
