Become a Part of the Disney Pin Trading Tradition!
This Summer 2004 get swept up in the pin trading frenzy that is taking over the Disneyland® Resort and Walt Disney World® Resort in celebration of the U.S. Olympic Team going to the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. During this Summer celebration, you'll discover specially designed pins and pin trading accessories showing your favorite Disney characters supporting our U.S. Olympic team. Now, you, your family and friends can pin trade and show your Olympic spirit with Cast Members and other pin trading aficionados.

In addition, the Disneyland® Resort will host an eight-week long Mickey's All-American Pin Festival beginning June 20th, 2004 featuring special Pin Trading carts - one in Disneyland® park, one in Disney's California Adventure™ park and one in Downtown Disney District that will allow you to add to your own Disney pin trading collection.

The fun continues at the Walt Disney World® Resort as several Olympic athletes will make special appearances this Summer 2004. Starting June 18th and 19th, Olympic Gold Medalist Sheila Taormina will appear at Disney's Pin Traders at the Downtown Disney Marketplace.

*****I was on another board where I posted the same information and for some reason they emailed me and said
that DISNEY told them that all the "i"'s were not dotted yet
and that DISNEY put up there information to soon.

I saw this on DISNEY's site ODPT.COM and thought it was good
reading, so make sure to, I guess for now use this as
POSSIBLE INFORMATION until DISNEY corrects what might
be wrong, they did not say exactly what was not suppose
to be up yet?????

Wow! I hope this pans out! We have a small Olympic pin collection, and I'd love to be able to add some new WDW/DLR pins!

Hope AZJeff sees this thread. Some of you may not know that Jeff started his pintrading career with Olympic pins. He provided some fantastic (and stange) tales of his pintrading adventures at the Salt Lake City games.

Why would they correct you? They seem to post all kinds of incorrect information without it being verified, in an attempt to beat the other news site. It consistantly happens and my guess is they were more annoyed that you posted it before they did.

I started collecting pins back in 1992 with olympic pins, so this would be super! I hope there are some out when I go down june 9! Thanks for the heads up!
