Disney acrylic nails

I'd really like to get disney acrylic nails done before my vow renewal. I think you can get them done at GF. However, I'm staying at AKL and was wondering if the AKL spa did nails. Does anyone know?

If anyone has had these nails done were you pleased with them and is there much choice of design? How much time would I need to allow?

The Gf doesn't do acrylic nails they only do manicures, if you ask over at the wedding page somebody would be able to tell you where you can get them done.

They do offer my first manicure/pedicure for girls. Can't remember the age restrictions or price but you can find them at relaxedyet.com. But that is not the acrylics that the OP was asking about.

The AKL does not offer salon services unless it has changed since I stayed there a couple years ago. Massages are done there however,

Someone here has posted in the past about a woman that used to do nails at one of the spas at WDW. She now comes to your hotel room and does them there, a lot less expensive than actually going to the salon and having them done. Maybe the poster will see this and respond. HTH

I don't know if she does acrylics. And for the dad, I thought he was talking about a spa experience for his daughters.

BCV23, I think they would be in heaven with a pedicure and spa treatment. They are really into the princesses and would love that kind of royal attention. I just hadn't thought of it. It's something I'll have to check out next time we go, hopefully this December.

We've stayed at the Poly the last few times we've gone and, with the GF next door, a spa day for the DW and DD's, and maybe golf for me, it could be a lot of fun.

Hey all! I was actually just with TC from Finger-N-Toes On the Go yesterday for a manicure, at my house--how wonderful is that? We were commiserating, we both have teenagers who are learning to drive! (I'm trying to talk her husband into teaching my son, so far no luck LOL!)

At any rate, Here's the scoop. TC used to work at the GF Spa. She is licensed by the State of FL. She now has a mobile manicure/pedicure business. She comes to you! You get the same treatment you would get at the GF Spa, same products, and a wide selection of polishes (almost all OPI brand). She even has the little flip flops for your feet if you are getting a pedicure.

Manicures are $15, pedicures are $20. She's pretty flexible with times, although she's got lots of customers these days, so you want to call early for best availability.

She doesn't so acrylics, and for a good reason. The chemicals used in them have a strong odor, and that odor remains and lingers forever. She doesn't want that type of smell in someone's home or hotel room.
