Disney ABC and General Disney Pages- Completed!

Hey Tigger1221:

Your and your Mom's pages are nifty. Did you use the SB cart for Disney Downtown? I am really loving that font now days. On your mom's Amazing Ride I think the pullout jb might show better. JMHO. I think with my messed up writing it will make the page look lost and I love that page. I was thinking where the little mickey hands were that was a jb. Maybe your mom could glue the hands to a jb there.

Here are my pagesfor ABC group:

Quiet is very cute. It reminds me of a quilt.

I actually originally designed the page thinking the title was Queue but then looked again and realized I was doing quiet before I cut the titles- so it was designed with the arrows. I figure they don't detract from the Quiet so I left them- the arrows are all pop dotted so photos or journaling can slip under the edges.

Thanks! Mom is going to do hidden journaling on her Amazing rides. We are finishing are DCL swap and will finish these up. We will defiantly be on time.

Nemomom- Yup thats Storybook on the DTD page. It is a great cart and we have used it alot.

Please continue to keep us up to date on how you are doing if you until you mail (at least once every 4 days).

Me:
ABC pages are done
Group 5- I have worked out a design and title in my head and know what I want to use as embellishments but I have not yet found my paper or started doing the work

Rebecca

no progress since the last post.

I've been angry with some stuff going on at home and I don't want it to reflect in my work. I will be cutting out the mats for C tonight after the kids settle down.

I have 8 more pages of reservations to add the photo corners to the photo mats and that set will be done.

Luggage - There are three more pages to glue the title letters on the page.

I may finish tonight.

If I do, I will mail in the AM.

All "S" pages all done and bagged.
10 "K" pages all done and just three pages (sets) of the elements just to be stuck down.

On track! (Just temporarily derailed by a cardiac "incident" of DHs - and an ambulance ride and hospital visit - ugh!)

Yup - thanks for asking!

(He's kinda sorta ok!...long story. A previous similar incident two years ago turned out to involve TinkerBean, her in my pajamas in my bedroom telling my DH "You aren't dying on my watch...!") She and her DH were huge helps again yesterday...but no pajamas involved!

Sigh...isn't life interesting? It is good to have such good friends to help out through the rough patches!

Sorry to hear about your DH Pinball. It is good to have close friends. That had to be scary.

Ok - TB will kill me if I just leave the pajama tale there...so here's the brief story (skip if you are just on this thread for ABC swap info!):

DH has a wonky heart, despite meds and an implanted pacemaker/defribrillator. Very early one morning two years ago, he had a very erratic beat and was taken by ambulance to the ER. Z2H was sick that day (flu?) and was at home while I was with DH at the hospital all day, where they finally got him kinda sorta stabilized and sent us home at dinner time. Popped him into bed and went to the next room to check on Z2H who had developed a 105-degree fever while we were gone! TinkerBean rushed over to my house to "husbandsit," "kidsit," and "brand-new eight-week old puppysit" while I ran Z2H to the docs, who then threw her into an ambulance to yet another hospital. Got home at 2 a.m. with Z2H after her fever broke to find TB in my pajamas snuggling with the puppy - with everyone asleep and still alive. (She did not let DH out of her sight all evening - even after he yelled "Stop watching me while I sleep!") We all laugh about my "day from he**" now - but it was pretty overwhelming that day!

Wow! I hope all is good now PF. Scary stuff.
Puts my issues into perspective, I hope he is well today. I need to see a pic of TB in her jammies hanging out in some other guys bedroom. LOL

Y'all are a hoot! Love the story!

I remember that day like it was yesterday...I think that me being in your pjs, sitting on your bed, watching your dh sleep popcorn:: would have been enough to set off his pacemaker:scared1: again...Glad to help:hug:

Update as to exactly where I am.
Standing in the nook, typing. :teeth:

Seriously here is "C", roughly. DH helped me make a curved template so I'm reworking the placement. Should I double mat the letters? I'm thinking no. I was thinking about having the C in Mickey's hand or something, yes, no?

Maybe make the "C" an obviously different size and double mat that one only?
