Disney 3x4 and 4X6 journaling cards *accepting requests*

Ok a newbie question.....how do you use the overlays? I don't use photoshop or any of those type programs. How would I put this on my photo prior to uploading it to be printed?

Happy Sunday all :wave2: - so excited went to Hobby Lobby over the weekend and got a Project Life core kit with my 40% coupon only cost me $18!! :yay: I got the Blush addition but really want the Honey Core kit as I think that will make a great addition to my Disney album.... Disneyish colors pixiedust:

Hello Michelle - If you don't use any photo program then I don't think you can. However, you might be able to do something like that in Microsoft office where you would put the picture in there and then put the png on top; you would just have to select your picture to allow it to be behind something else. Does that make any sense? Maybe someone else has a better idea :scratchin

Here's a Rock n' Rollercoaster one:

Hello Virginia - very nice!!! :thumbsup2 Looking forward to seeing more from you! Also excited just bought some gel pens this weekend to write on black with :)

Hi. I have tried to go through the entire thread as well as the thread containing the actual cards, so I apologize if I am requesting something that already exists. I am looking for lined journal cards for what I consider the "core" Mickey gang of characters: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale as well as Tinker Bell. I am interested in the lines being somewhat farther apart as mentioned in one of the threads as I have a younger child who would like to try to journal on their own this trip and still writes in somewhat large print. Thanks so much!

Laurie

Hi Laurie -

over in the thread where they are displayed I see Iloveeliot (post #2) has some character one like that. Are you looking for that type of card but with the above named characters?

Very nice mommyarewegoingback!!! I've added it to the index on the other thread :)

tiggergalttfn, sorry I'm still not back here, thanks for keeping the home fires burning! I have a few cards I need to make for our trip so I'll work on them this week :cool1:

I did manage to complete a monster project while I was away from the thread... scanning in all our old family photos from the 1940's to the start of digital! It took 3.5 years of on and off work to complete (tidying, cropping & fixing up pics) and over the past week I stopped putting it off and I finished it! The collection rocks :thumbsup2 Good to finally have it off my to-do list :wizard:

Hope everyone is well, keep the requests coming in!!

Yes that is exactly what I am looking for. Thanks for pointing them out and answering me so quickly. I also re-read the first post and realized I can only request for at a time and listed way more than that so I apologize for being such a newbie... I would like to request:

Tinkerbelle
Goofy
Chip and Dale
Mickey if at all possible.

Our trip is in August.

Thanks so much!
Laurie

Would it be possible to do an airline specific card? We are flying Southwest & I would love a card for the flight. We have a few 1st time fliers with us. Thank you!

I don't know if this has been answered yet but you can also print these off on overhead transparency sheets (you know, those clear plastic sheets teachers used to write on & project on a wall) and then cut them to fit your picture as an overlay.

I've done this before and it works great. Just make sure you let the ink dry for an hour or two so it doesn't smudge.

coruth4, here are some Southwest cards, including some "my first flight" and "our first flight" ones, hope you like them :)

Sorry I have been sooooo absent from here lately! If anyone knows of anything I should have replied to that I've missed please point me in the right direction!

I've been a very bad dis'er!

I've been trying to catch up on my own scrap booking as well as my 'proper' job.

But the big news is I'm in the process of setting up my own little Facebook business selling hair bows for young girls! I'll eventually be making hair slide, headbands and bobbles with bows in a variety of ribbons. I'm also planning to do special requests and bows in bulk for parties when it gets a bit more popular!

The Facebook page isn't open yet as I'm trying to build up a stock of bows before I open. But I have opened a twitter account to try and promote the page and gain a few fans before I open.

So if any of you are from the Uk And have twitter I would be ever so grateful if you could follow @BowsWonderland. I'm not asking for purchases or touting for business haha just thought I'd drop by to say I'm still here and to spread the word about my Bows in Wonderland.

I WILL be back once I get caught up on everything!

Sounds fab newlittleminnie, best of luck with it :cheer2::cheer2:

Here are 2 more cards from my own to-do list, Sanaa and Yak & Yeti, both on our ADR list for our trip (veggie family!), very excited about the both of them!

*********** please see my new thread for cards :upsidedow ***********

Any chance you'd be able to make a few of those for Delta airlines?

Please and thank you!! :-)

I think this is the coolest thing ever! I'm planning on printing a lot of these out to use in my scrapbook for my next Disney trip.

I saw a lot of cards for my first Disney trip or my first set of Mickey Ears. I was wondering if someone made one for My First Haircut (I know a lot of people who have waited to have their child's hair cut until they went to Disney)? I tried to look through all of the completed cards (I might have missed it), but I was wondering if you had a card for the Dapper Dans? I was also wondering if you have a card for people who are celebrating wedding anniversaries while at Disney? We're going next year for my parents 41st wedding anniversary.

Again I think that these cards are amazing! :-)

I can do My First Haircut & one for the Dapper Dans :)

Iloveeliot has some cards that might work nicely for a wedding anniversary... http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=47951643&postcount=60
