Disney 2006 Scrapbook FINALLY Done

WOW is all I can say about that. I still awaiting the day I can scrap our first trip. WIth 2 sons 1 and 5 and a full time job I just do not have the time, although I guess I do not need to sleep. Those 22 6th graders I teach all day won't mind if I sleep at school!

LOL. Got 98 seventh graders, myself. But my own kids are a bit older, so I can squeeze in scrap time because they're past the age of needing Mommy every minute. Plus, they helped with the book. Wouldn't try that with a one year old! :rotfl:

Where did you find (or how did you make) the Expedition Everest wordage?
I love this page! And all the rest as well. You did an absolutely wonderful job!

The small "Expedition Everest" logo that's "falling" out of the folder was just printed in black and white from on-line, (I think I searched "Expedition Everest Logo" on Google Images) and then distressed. The words along the side were printed from Microsoft Word - I can try to figure out the fonts for you when I'm on that computer. I just cut that part of the paper off, printed, and then hid the cut under the black strip of paper.

I'll look for those fonts later. Glad you liked it!

(And thanks again everyone for your kind words - I'm glad to hear I've inspired you!)

I LOVED LOVED LOVED your pages.....thank you for giving me some inspiration to work on my 2006 WDW trip....I hope you don't mind if I scraplift some of your ideas....

I'm off to look at your pages again to find all the hidden...and not so hidden Mickeys. What a cool idea.

What an awsome album you made! I love all of your pages. If you don't mind I may scraplift I few page ideas. I am still working on my 2006 WDW album. Congrats on finishing the album!

Wonderful album!! I will definitely be using some of these ideas. I'm on the last couple pages of my 2006 album too!! :)

Wow thats impressive. I'm just starting with my album from our trip. It will be the first album I have done. This gives me something to aspire too.

Where does everyone find their "letters?" For example, on page 1, the LO of Dumbo Magic -- the smaller writing along the side, or on the Double Tigger page. I am always looking for cool letters to use for the smaller "journaling" as I do not have very nice handwriting.

This was kinda my question. What is the font that you used for the "Pessimist" on the Eeyore page? Is that a Cricut Cart? I noticed that font a few times throughout and I like it!

I absolutely LOVE your pages...every one of them! Your photos are great, I love your scrapping style and the layouts are beautiful. I am going to go back through them all and find the hidden mickeys (and enjoy looking again!). Thanks for providing inspiration!

How did you get the photo on your first page of your family with all the characters? Awesome!

How did you get all the VIP treatment?

We were lucky enough to be picked as the Magic Kingdom Family of the Day. We got to go through the turnstiles before the park opened, got whisked down Main Street on a firetruck with bells ringing, and then were allowed to wander an empty Toontown. Then, 10 characters appeared, got a picture with us, and rode the train with us to Main Street station where our name was announced and we got to throw confetti to "open" the park. We then had our picture taken on the station steps with Mickey, Donald, Minnie, and the mayor of Main Street. It was SOOO much fun, and such a wonderful way to end the trip. We'll never top that one!

Nope, no Cricut here. It's stickers - Sarah Script by American Crafts. I use it a lot - I think I have three partially used sheets in my drawer right now.

Most of the smaller writing you see on my pages are computer fonts. I just print on the cardstock. If it appears to be printed on a 12x12 piece, I've actually cut the paper and run it through the printer, and the cut is hidden behind page elements. The T - I - Double GG - ER page is stickers for the title (I think American Crafts again, plus Making Memories - it's mixed) and the various tigger-ific sayings are cut from a sheet of patterned paper.

Hope that helps a little!

You've inspired me :worship: to at least organize my pictures, maps, tickets, and souvenirs from the last trip (I cheated and bought the Photopass Picture book:rolleyes: ), its just not the same as scrapbooking!

That is awesome! And so different than how I scrap, but I love it! I'm such a plain jane scrapper, I love to see people who can put all that cool stuff together and make such amazing pages. THANKS for sharing!!

I too loved your pages. I am still working on my 2006 Disney trip album, DD15 finished hers about 4 nights ago which put me in a slump. I am inspired by seeing your pages. Thanks for the lift. Again amazing pages.
