Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge Coming to former Reflections Site in 2027!

I think Madam Leota says October 1, 2026. Starting 4th quarter off with good financials. If they are combining with CFW, I would think they need to declare before 2027 dues are sent out.

Disney Lakeshore Lodge looms next to Fort Wilderness Resort, along Bay Lake. Like the early Reflections concept, Disney Lakeshore Lodge is a Disney Vacation Club resort and will be “inspired by the majesty of nature and its enduring influence on Disney artists.” The new resort is set to open sometime in 2027, and progress can be seen from the monorail and on the water taxi from Magic Kingdom to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.


A-frame cabins are in rows on either side of the main resort. Crews have been adding more supports and wood details to the cabins over the past few weeks. It’s estimated there may be at least 20 cabins throughout the resort.




The a frame cabins are becoming more complete, but the crew seems to be focused on those closest to the resort’s main building. Many of the other cabins, including those near Clementine Beach are just framed, with a combination of wood and steel.


Much of the rest of the resort is the same from our last updates, although most buildings now are covered in at least one layer of sheathing or are being prepped for concrete.




Roof work and progress on the many overhangs continues on all sections of the large resort.


It appears that a majority of the visible balconies have doors installed now, and most windows have also been installed.



Toward the middle of the resort, crew members are working on the upper areas of buildings and balconies that have not progresses as quickly.


The barge has moved slightly to the right as work also progresses on what we believe to be a new dock.



Metal and woodwork runs from the grounds out over the water.


The wing closest to Fort Wilderness has progressed faster and further than the rest of the resort with continued work on sheathing, additional overhang frames, and roofing.



The entrance has even more steelwork in place. The red steel h is reinforced at the bottom with concrete. It’s also covered in blue tarp at the top.


With the updated to the front and backside of the resort’s main entrance, it seems that this is one of the team’s main focus in current construction.



Around the front side of the resort, more progress has occurred on the port cochere that we reported on in our last update. Now, silver framing extends from the red steel, that we have been watching expand the last several weeks.


This extended covered area will allow vehicles to pass through and will make it easy for guests checking in and out. It has a unique design, as seen in the concept art above. With this new addition, we can see the shape of it coming to life.



Portions of the resort are visible from Fort Wilderness. Pictured above is a view from the arcade/Pioneer Hall area of Fort Wilderness with Lakeshore Lodge behind it. This section of the resort is the most complete.
