Kara- I am so, soooooooo happy the 1st day went so well- WOW, what an awesome school she is in!! You must be on cloud 9, you really, REALLY picked the right house, in the right town, and the right school. I think you can exhale now.

When we left off, We had just left GF and climbed on the bus for DHS- we had a date with RnR!! We all LOVE this ride, and couldn"t WAIT to go on....except for Cammie. Who had never been on before. But DISmom pressure was gettin' to her, and she was going to DO IT!!!!!!

DHS was EMPTY...it was AWESOME!!!! Before we got on, though, Joan made a phone call- it seems her DH's cousin is a CM- with a very cool Disney job. He works on RnR as an engineer! He's the guy that programs the music, and makes sure the ride is running just right.

We were all able to say hello, and we all wanted to know why the building was all covered up- was Aerosmith backing out?? Was this turning into a Jonas Bros ride???? No...not Jonas brothers- the guitar was being painted PINK- for Hannah Montana!!!

Well...not really. Just routine maintenance. But Joan's cousin did say he can't BELIEVE all these rumours and can't understand where people come up with this stuff. ANyway, the park was soooo empty, and we were able to hop on the ride pretty quickly- sorry, Cammie- no time to chicken out!!! Kara stayed outside and held our bags- and I really don't remember why now....Anyway, Cammie and I rode together, and then when it was over....SHE LOVED IT!!!!! Really, really LOVED it!!!! So much so, that- we rode it again!!! Twice in a row!!! AWESOME!!!

Yea, that's right. One minute, Kara's sipping tea with pinky pointed, the next minute she's rollin on the ground in an amusement park. She's so purty!

Next, we weregoing to a first for Joan- TSM! Yay, no lines again! I think we were on in 15 minutes!!

Joan and I rode together- and I believe i kicked her butt!!! AT this point, it was time to head back and get ready for dinner, so we left DHS-

And I once again avoided ToT- I still haven't gotten on that ride- not that I'm complaining... That's ok- I kind of want to do it with my kids if I ever do it, I just have a feeling I will only be riding once. We arrived back at BCV in no time-

Next up....the BEST meal of the trip!! YUMMMMMMMM!!!!!!

Caught back up and glad to see the Dismoms are still going strong. RNRC is one of my favorite rides. How cool you got to ride both that and TSM with minimal wait time. Great pictures too!

Ellen, loved your HHI pictures. We are going over Memorial Day weekend to the DVC there and I am really looking forward to it.

Kara, glad all went well with your daughter at her new school. We dropped our youngest at college as a freshman last Thursday. I also worried about her making friends as she really knew no one there (she was recruited to play lacrosse, so she had visited and at least met the team). When she called me tonight to ask a question she was also carrying on 5 or 6 different conversations with other people, so I think she is adjusting well.

Looking forward to hearing about dinner and the accompanying beverages. Pretty soon I need to make my ADRs and I am always looking for new restaurants to try.

That's maybe my least favorite park- I think it's because my kids never want to sit through any shows, so that knocks out so much of it for us. But I do LOVE RnR!!

No, it's not broken- just August is a busy month with a lot of summer stuff, and I also had to start doing PTA stuff because I'm the new president. I'll try to update today.

That is how I felt about RnR until this last time- I would make myself do it, but that take-off kinda freaked me out a little....now, I LOVE it, and I think it's because I rode twice in a row- and de-sensitized myself. WOOHOO!!

Tonight, Kara, Joan & I were leaving my home resort of BCV

to have dinner at my other home resort, AKV.

We had booked this dinner at Sanaa originally for 4 of us, including Loni, but unfortunately she had to leave because of her new job. Of all the meals Loni has had in WDW, this is her most favorite. We tried to switch things around so Loni could have joined us, but it just didn't work out. But don't worry! Loni, Mike, Pods and I will be eating there 4 weeks from today!!! Anyway, we walked around Kidani a little before we went to the restaurant- Kara was really interested in taking the tour-

No joke, this is by far the most purty potty in WDW. Look at that granite!! Can you see the animals? AMAZING!!!! We checked in-

While we waited, we went outside for a minute-

Soon we were seated, and, of COURSE it was time for FLYING LESSONS!!

Sorry for the tease, but I have to finish tomorrow- I have to get to two parties tonight- one of which is a Mexican one at Joan's, where I know she is serving our favorite Rita's from the ditch- Hasta la Vista, Baby!!
