I don't know if this pic will show up, but my son was the one in the green cast?? and he wore this big blue mitt over it when in the water...I should have told you that BEFORE we left LOL!

A long, long time ago, on a TR page far, far away, we were actually writing about 4 DISmoms visiting WDW during Monsoon season....so here's what happened next, after we left DAK.....

Right after we had our photopass pics taken, we ran to the bus to Epcot in the POURING rain and soon arrived at EPCOT. Along with the POURING rain. That appeared to be following us wherever we went for the remainder of our stay. At this moment, that was Le Cellier for lunch. Loni was meeting us there after her leisurely morning at the AKL pool- that was non-existent because of RAIN. Now, this cracked us up- here we four are, ADR made 90 days out by concierge, and we couldn't get near the dry interior of the restaurant because of the HORDES of people at the podium strolling up, saying, "Hi! Can we get a table? This looks nice!" Always amazing to me there are still people left in the universe who do not understand the Le Cellier ADR necessity! GEEZ! Eventually, we were able to get in. The boys were very interested in the wine selection-

Finally we were seated, and on to pretzel bread and beer!

Some of us had Bloody Mary's- very, very good.

I was having the Chef's Favorites menu, because- well, since the last time I ate in Canada Le Cellier was a cafeteria. I KNOW!!! It's SACRILEGE!!!! So I picked the Cheddar Cheese soup- because I really wanted to try it, but more importantly, because it was HOT and I was frozen to the BONE from the freezing rain. It was a BOWL. And that's a TON of cheese soup. VERY FILLING cheese soup, I might add! But also sooooo yummy with those pretzel bread sticks!

Kara was smart, she had a cup-

Between Cammie & Loni, one of them had a bowl of soup, the other had the tomato stack.

Somehow, I managed to eat a little of my prime rib sandwich-

I wasn't crazy about it, it was good, not great, very, very seasoned- but this may have been because I was sooooooooooooo overly stuffed from all that soup and bread. Ooops! I think Cammie had this, too, and someone else had the Steak salad-

Then dessert- maple creme brulee-

And I had to try the Chocolate Mousse-

The Chef menu was a very good deal offering 3 courses for $28.99, PLUS we got a 20% discount off of that with TIW. I would do it again- I would just learn a little bit of self-control before I ordered another bowl of that cheese soup!

Kara sorted out the check, and we were back out into the park- and on to Club Cool with our dear, trusting DISmom, Loni, and first her visit with Beverly.

I want to explain the ITSE photo- at HHI, (the Disney Resort) there are TONS of activities. Of course, I want to do pretty much all of them! So the first one when we arrived was "Secrets of the Marsh" which we dubbed "The Muck and Mud Tour". We put on the boots and were about to head into the marsh, when the rain began to POUR! So the naturalist, Gwenyth (who is FABULOUS!), asked if we wanted to wait- and handed out some umbrellas. While we were waiting, I walked back to the pool, with my broken umbrella (of course!) and well, lets just say Pods had a hard time controlling his lust for me. 'Cuz I was at my ULTIMATE sexiness!!! We eventually DID go out to the marsh (and muck and mud) and while I'm saving more pics for my HHI TR, here are a couple to prove I wasn't the only one in boots ( although, since I was swimming right before the tour and my cover-up was a dress that I didn't want to muck up, I just went in my bathing suit, making me TOO SEXY FOR THE MARSH!)

The group, back row, l to r, DGF15 Leanna (my neice's friend), DN11 Austin, DN12 Victoria, SIL Helene, BIL Alan, front row, DS12 Tyler, DN8 Brendan, Me, aka, the sexy Marsh Goddess, and a girl from another family (who was from the town next to us at home and had a 12 year old brother who played baseball this summer against DS12's team! Small world!!).

YES!!! Did y'all see? I've added three new tickers!!!! In three weeks my neighbor and I are heading down with our girls who are BFFs just for one night! Somehow I was able to score ADRs at Akershus for a little princess time for our little princesses!

Then... yesterday I overheard Jeff talking to one of his SC golf buddies. They were discussing an upcoming annual golf trip in Sept, and I heard Jeff say, "I'm in." I had a room ressie for Ally and I before he even got off the phone!!!

Then we have a family trip planned for a long weekend in December. So..... now that our seasonal passes are out of the blackout period, we're comin back with a vengeance!
