DISMEET for WONDER 1/26/03, who's in?

Who will try to be there? I think the thought is immediately after the sail away party, whenever that is. Disneylover thought 5. Believe me, I am not the expert, but I DO want us all to say hello as soon as possible. Where were you all going to try to be during sail away? In the middle of the action? Above it? Below it? Getting a massage and escaping from it?

Actually, I'm just hoping that I'm not seasick DURING IT!

If I remember correctly the party was on till after five...be prepared one of the most touching things is when you pull out and they toot the horn which plays when you wish apon a star...many watery eyes...very emotional...dont go out and buy something lime green just get a lime green ribbon and pin it to your shirt. Several years ago my mom made us buttoms in a craft class that said(Disney 753 on a lime green back ground) and hers said Disney 753's Mom......we use to travel to Disney together and made 30+ trips together to WDW and DL. we were suspose to go in 2001 on the Wonder cruise but she died unexpectly on 7/2000 and she never got to cruise. So in 2001 I took my niece and we went on the 7 day Magic in memory of my Mom. Well keep me posted on our meet I wonder if we should narrow it down a little and say front, back, left or right of the ship....it is way bigger then you would think.

Since you have cruised before, you would know best. How about right after the party on, say, the 7th floor secret deck? Is that pushing it?

I think if everyone wore a lime green ribbon we could do this almost anywhere.......on the Magic the pool was covered and it was like a dance floor ...there are lots of people for the sail away party and very busy. If we all want to meet there we could say on the left/right or top/bottom of the pool...if not deck 7 is fine. I think there are 6 different groups of us...and I dont know how many total. Maybe we should see how many of us there would be.

Hi All - there's just two of us - we're celebrating our 25th Anniversary!

We have early seating for dinner.

We will be there (husband and I) and we will be celebrating our 27th anniversary. Really our anniversary is tomorrow (Thursday) but we will be celebrating it on board.

We also have early seating for dinner.

Congrats, MinyBear! Given how long most marriages last these days, it's really something to celebrate ;-) Our actual anniversary was New Year's Day, but we had to wait a few weeks for the cruise. We are planning to go to Palo's on the last night of the cruise for our "official" celebration. Can't wait!

All of these anniversaries!! We had our 15th in Oct and our friends that are traveling with us had their 15th in lated Dec. We are travelling togther to celebrate!

Well, I guess I should add that we are going to celebrate 20 years in May and this trip is an early celebration gift to ourselves (in addition to being the recent holiday gift for the kids ).

so are we planning to meet at the Mickey pool as the party is going on or on deck 7 after the party...we may want to do it as the party is going on as there are several on early seating. If we all wear our green things I think we can make it work. I read a post on here that set it up to meet by the Mickey Pool on the side closest to the terminal. There are about 28 of us so I think we could do it. I am looking forward to meeting all on here and having a great time. I dont remember who said about walking after breakfast but I would be game if anyone wants to work out or walk for exercise...let me know.

I can't believe it's sooo close! With freezing temps here and snow all around, I just want to be on that ship already!

I was the one who mentioned walking after breakfast (whatever time that will be). I'd love company! Actually, when I think of all the food we'll be eating, I'll walk anytime!

Yes, let's definitely be on the terminal side. My husband is 6'9" and usually stands out in a crowd (I'm 5'3"), so look for us. I'm not sure what will be lime green on us yet. We may be waving a little green flag or something.

Hi - we're on deck 7 too! We'll be driving to the port so plan to get there around 11 or so. We're staying at the Polynesian before the cruise. Andy is 6' with lots of curly grey/brown hair, I'm 5'3 with short brown hair. We'll be wearing lime green post it notes ;-) (cheapest and easiest thing I could find that color!)
