Gmorning!

We have a rare day of 50 degrees -- so loving it...Suppposed to drop to 30s over the weekend ...waaaah.

U/S looked good. Baby is 57% when average is just 50% so we don't have any worries at this time re: the cord and the placenta. As long as everything stays on track, we are good for a midMarch birth!

Yay! That's wonderful to hear!

Ok, so I joined the TF thread...day late and dollar short...I just don't have time to keep up with it all...

now looking for a good turkey recipe...found one that looks good from the chefs at Ritz Carlton....I just never made a whole turkey before and am hosting Christmas -- can you say disaster waiting to happen?:rotfl2:

I am a turkey cooking fool and I can offer a piece of sage advice. Whenever possible use the Reynolds wrap oven bags. They are foolproof as long as you follow the directions. I have never madea dry turkey using them.

Hey, you and the Ritz Carlton chef are doing the same thing!! Yep, I did hear that those bags work wonders.

Good Morning and happy day to everyone!

I hope that everyone is happy and warm today!

Hi Chele.

Todays weather not too bad. This weekend is supposed to be FREEZING

That is one of the reasons we live where we do. There are places in California that get snow and really cold. And we have days that will get down in the teens but they are rare and 30-40 is about as low as we tend to get.

Hey, guys! Good to hear from you.

I go tomorrow for another u/s to see if baby is doing ok or not...I'm not sure if I mentioned but the umbilical cord is not directly centered on the placenta so either things are just fine or she may not be getting enough nutrients...it'll be something we have to monitor over the next 3 months.

I'm doing pretty good...gained 24 lbs in 24 weeks, so I guess this is just going to be a pound a week type of pregnancy thing....I was worried about the whole thanksgiving eating and being home with my mom/dad, but I really tried to eat slowly so I'd fill up more quickly. It really worked!

Of course, I was the last one eating for every meal but that's ok.

:goodvibes Let us know how you make out Marshay and how the baby is doing. Our prayers will all be with you through out the rest of the pregnancy!

Hi Michelle. It was a nice comfortable day here, about 71 degrees and mostly sunny but some clouds. I didn't do much today but somehow the day got past me, lol.

Hi Marshay, am so glad that the U/S looked good and that there are no worries concerning the baby. That's great news! I'm so happy for all of you.
