Me too. I was worried I wouldn't sleep tonight. One because I'm upset at not having a job to go to tomorrow but two because we went to Smokey Bones for dinner and I had iced tea, that means caffeine and that means I can't sleep but yet I'msitting her feeling sleepy.

We had the best meal. There was a buy one entree get one free so we went there and I had a fillet mignon, baked potato, cinnamon apples and salad and iced tea and Bryan had NY Strip, baked potato and roasted corn and a salad and iced tea. It cost us $25 total! Sometimes when we go to Arby's we spend that much as its expensive there, so it was a much better meal for only $25 there. I hope we find another one of those coupons! It was delicous!

Hey All! Here a few pics from Halloween. DD ended up wearing 2 different costumes. We went to the mall for trick or treat and I knew it would be warm so I persuaded her to wear her Minnie dress for that night (thank goodness!). The rest of her activities she was Daisy Duck!

Okay, what mall is that? South Hills Village? I haven't been there since college, so I can't remember if it looks familiar or not. I did spend a lot of time there "back in the day" though.

I absolutely love that Daisy costume. It is so cute! And just look at those big blue eyes! You're gonna have your hands full in a few years!

Do you ever feel like you will never be caught up with anything ever again? I just can't seem to find enough time in the day.

Off to get the kids in bed. No school tomorrow because of the election, but it is supposed to be a beautiful day so hopefully they will keep busy!

Your schools don't do that? I believe they do it because it is a safety issue. A bunch of people coming into the schools to vote while the kids are there. It's a good idea except that now I have to take 3 kids with me to vote!!!

Aidans classs has been talking about the election for a few weeks and today they had a mock election. Aidan said that he had voted for McCain and I was surprised because in our house he hears mostly Obama talk. I asked why he chose McCain and he said it was because he liked his hair!! Thank God 5 year olds don't vote!!!

It's Monday

It's not that good for me because a. it's Monday and b. I'm going to the dentist at 7:30 It's one of those things that sounded good when I made the appointment 6 months ago and now I wonder why I did!

DH has been working so much from home on the nite's and weekends that I barely have a chance to get on. I was excited when I had few extra minutes this morning to jump on and say hi!

Sharky - Huey looked ADORABLE as Mr. Potato Head What a cute costume! I showed DD and she was chanting Tato Head...Tato Head! See, the brainwashing has already begun

Hi Betsy, I am like you I normally make my dentist appt for first thing in the morning but once I get to a point that I have to actually go I am sorry, lol. I am in the middle of some dental work, had a root canal now in two weeks I go for a post to be put in and then a crown built around it. It's not fun but necessary.

Thanks for the nice wishes and prayers for me to get a new position. I sure would like to be working again. Either that or win the lottery. I could stay home if I could win the lottery, like everyone else in this world, lol.

Ours don't do that. Of course, we vote at the fire hall. I'm taking my kids with me to vote so that they can see how to do it. Shane seems really interested in it.

Betsy, Stinkerbelle looks adorable. I absolutely love the pink sneakers with the pink minnie dress! Who is the little girl in the yellow dress? She resembles stinkerbelle. They both look cute.

I love the daisy costume, did you make it? It's so cute and of course I have a little prejudice towards that costume seeings how I am daisy on our TR, lol. That was great to trick or treat in the mall, safe, comfortable temps, etc.

Kody was in the first grade for the Gore-Bush election and the class voted for Gore. Just like the popular vote. And as far voting for him because he liked his hair. How do you think Ronald Reagan got elected?

No, they do not vote in our school. They might in teh high school, but not in the smaller ones.

Plus, we have off wed, thurs, fri, mon and tues for New Jersey Education Association convention, already

Abby got her first tooth today! Its about time, she is almost 8 months - but she is handling it like a trooper.

I was in Aidans class with another mom that I just met and we were talking Disney. They just got back and she was filling me in. So her parents show up and her dad - probably around 55-60 was wearing a mickey shirt with a Mickey Mouse earring! He then proceeded to tell me about this wonderful thing I should look into called DVC. He even pulled his official card out for me to see. Then we started a battle of Disney knowledge. It is the first time I have met a real life person with as much Disney knowledge as me. But he hadn't heard of the disboards. Said he was going home to check it out!

awww, glad to hear Abby is being a trooper about the new tooth.

That's too funny about the guy you met in Aidan's class. IT's really fun to meet new people that share the Disney passion. Doesn't happen often but it is fun. Cool that he is going to come check out the boards.

Thanks QM When we bought the dress last summer they did not have shoes and I didn't worry because it was on sale and I thought just to play dressup. Then I took it to Disney because she wore it to MNSHHP and we just used her pink Crocs. Well when we decided to wear it that night, we had no shoes because it was a little chilly so I spotted the Chuck's and thought she could pull it off

The Daisy costume is from the Disney store! This is the first year they have ever had Daisy...thank goodness!

Yes, our mall does trick or treat the night before Halloween. It is nice since the weather is so unpredictable here in late October.
