Hope everyone had a great halloween

We had a nice time in Trent class helping out.

Have fun time with a few of the moms, just joking around and being silly.

Around 4:30 we went to my best friend house and we helped her set up for the party.

There were about 7 kids and 20 adults trick or treating. We were the largest group in the neighborhood:rotfl2:

The kids played Hot Pumpkin, Make a mummy using TP and Freeze dance. Then they jsut ran around and played like nuts:rotfl:

We had pizza, soft pretzels, chips, pretzel, Hoagie salad, cupcakes, donuts and ton of candy.

It was a lot of fun.

I will have more pics to post later, but I am sure a certain someone is a bit impatient, so here is one I think "she" will love:lovestruc

awww he looks so cute!! LOVE that costume!

Ebay? Cool!

HA! I told Joe we were leaving our Halloween decorations up for Christmas. Just putting Santa hats on the skulls. You know how I love my skulls!

Like I said, I spent $350 on Halloween stuff in Target before the stuff went on sale. There was some stuff I just couldn't pass up. I got this crystal ball with a skull in it. It has one of those sensors on it, so when you make noise it starts talking. Well, we had that on while I was giving out candy the other night. Eventually the batteries started dying, so it was just moaning. It was funny, but probably one of those 'You had to be there' moments.

Hey chickie! That smiley is perfect!:rotfl:

Kyleigh was (ya ready for this?) A princess bride.:rotfl: Sharky - have you watched that movie yet??? Shane was some kind of a skull guy. He only wore his costume in the parade they had at school. He wasn't interested in trick or treating. He was having more fun helping to give out the candy.

Here's a story for ya. While we were on the porch giving out candy, birds decided to sit in our rain spouts. I did not want those birds sitting directly above me (for obvious reasons), so I told Joe to get rid of them. He took Shane's skull staff that was part of his costume and took a whack at the birds. Feathers went flying and he broke the damn stick. Poor kid didn't even get a chance to use it and his dad broke it.

I only got pictures with my cell phone.:guilty:

That's awesome that Kyleigh was the princess bride for halloween. Love it! :thumbsup2 Bummer that Joe broke Shane's skull staff so soon. Hope it at least got rid of the birds.

I must suck at being a girl. My mom said some guy at Raley's was flirting with me. He worked there and I thought he was just making pleasant conversation. And telling what music was "good". Modest Mouse, some other band, and Death Cab For Cutie. And he told me what Death Cab For Cutie's best album was. Except I forgot. :rolleyes1

And even if he was flirting with me, I would have no idea why. My hair was a mess and I had on a baggy sweatshirt. And I was wet. And cold. :confused3

Nah you don't suck....like you said in another post a bit further down the page....it's easy to bypass the things or people you are not interested in.

Ok here are our Halloween pics:

omg Orangie your kids look great!! And so do you. I love how both families did a theme together. And all super heros or villans. Your DD is silly for sure and I just LOVE that Joker costume. I'm so jealous.

Hey All! Here a few pics from Halloween. DD ended up wearing 2 different costumes. We went to the mall for trick or treat and I knew it would be warm so I persuaded her to wear her Minnie dress for that night (thank goodness!). The rest of her activities she was Daisy Duck!

SO adorable!! That daisy costume is fantastic! I can see now why she was braggin about it. :thumbsup2

Your schools don't do that? I believe they do it because it is a safety issue. A bunch of people coming into the schools to vote while the kids are there. It's a good idea except that now I have to take 3 kids with me to vote!!!

Aidans classs has been talking about the election for a few weeks and today they had a mock election. Aidan said that he had voted for McCain and I was surprised because in our house he hears mostly Obama talk. I asked why he chose McCain and he said it was because he liked his hair!! :rotfl2: Thank God 5 year olds don't vote!!!

:lmao: that is too funny. Sadly I think a lot of people that are voting for the first time ever in this election are voting for whoever they choose for similar reasons.

Thanks Chele! Yeah, thank goodness I can still help her choose! I can only imagine once she is older what will be worn

I always wore pink Chuck's when I was younger and I thought she might like them too! Turns out they work with a lot of different outfits...even Minnie dresses :rotfl:

Thanks Laura. That's nice the kids have off for the election. None of the schools around here do that! I need to get my rear in gear and get out and vote...I just do not want to wait in line so I'm waiting a little while longer hoping the work crowd will be through.

We will have to work on getting you in. It's been LONG time since I've been there too!

DING DING DING...you are correct! South Hills Village!

Thanks! I was happy with the Daisy costume! Thank goodness Disney made it this year because she wanted nothing but Daisy! Oh, I'm scared for the future with a teenage daughter  Of course you'll get to that stage first so I will have you for advice :worship:

They will make a great couple :lovestruc

Isn't Rock of Love Charm School addicting :yay:

Thanks girl! She already said she wants to be Jesse next year from Toy Story 2. I told her...you have a LONG time before that happens

Same with my DH...he complains yet sits there and watches :rotfl2:

I am LOVING Desperate Housewives this season! Gaby just cracks me up :rotfl2:

That is such a nice idea. I always wondered how the schools around here have lunch if the cafeteria is being used :confused3 Maybe our kids are off and I don't even know since DD isn't in school yet :scratchin:

Too funny about the hair :rotfl2:

Wow, you have been to the dentist a lot lately. Yep, I made my next app't for May and you guessed it, at 7:30am :rotfl2: Mark my word I will be on here complaining again in 6 months :lmao: Geesh, I hope everything goes smoothly, it's so not fun going there and especially several times in a row

Ahhhh, the lottery...that would be nice! I'll keep praying for a new job or a winning ticket :thumbsup2

Thanks QM :goodvibes When we bought the dress last summer they did not have shoes and I didn't worry because it was on sale and I thought just to play dressup. Then I took it to Disney because she wore it to MNSHHP and we just used her pink Crocs. Well when we decided to wear it that night, we had no shoes because it was a little chilly so I spotted the Chuck's and thought she could pull it off :upsidedow

The Daisy costume is from the Disney store! This is the first year they have ever had Daisy...thank goodness!

Yes, our mall does trick or treat the night before Halloween. It is nice since the weather is so unpredictable here in late October.

Morning OB!

I have benn meaning to tell you how cute your family of super heroes looked. Halloween is still so fun when your kids are little. I really miss going with our kids on Halloween.
