Halloween Party pics!

For today's party, DD wanted to be a Tiger. Here she is marching in the costume parade.
DSC_0881.jpg

And then I asked DH to take a pic of me and baby -- remember I'm only 19 weeks!! :scared1:

Awesome photos Marshay. DD looks absolutely precious, you made that costume I am sure.

You look gorgeous, pregnancy agrees with you, you have that glow and you look beautiful. I love your hair! It suits you really well. I was big with Kelly too, she was a big baby and I carried really big, in fact at six months people thought I was ready to deliver, lol, right then, but had 3 months left to go! Thqanks for sharing

Hey, Sharky! I knew those ears wouldn't get past you!! :lmao:

There is actually a really cute story behind the ears -- I posted this on another thread but will copy it for all of you!

==================================
Ok, so I had to share this with all of you -- I knew my DIS buddies would understand the most ---

I've been dreamed!!!
Yes, it finally happened to me -- in the Year of a Million Dreams, I got an official dream!! :cool1:

And what's really cool, is that this is my very first Mickey Ears!! Like the real kind!!

DSC_0927.jpg

Now I haven't told you the bestest part yet!
I got these Mickey ears in the mail -- but they were not from Disney.

Heather (Circusgirl) actually received them in the mail and in her INCREDIBLE generosity and exemplary Disney spirit, she so kindly bestowed them on me.

 :cool1: WOW!! :cool1:

Heather wrote this wonderful letter on Polynesian Resort letterhead even (!) and obviously she filled the box with all kinds of Disney magic and Pixie Dust because I immediately felt like a little kid living out a fantasy! And now I so can't wait to go back to Disney again -- I thought I had it bad before -- that was nothing!

So once again, Heather, these 2 words cannot express my appreciation, joy and excitement but they are completely sincere: THANK YOU!

That is so sweet of your friend to do that for you. You look so cute in those ears and I bet that you were like a big kid opening that box of Disney magic. How cool, you really were dreamed! :thumbsup2

Hello Ladies .. Just checking in. Promised the kids we would play Harry Potter

Hey Everyone :wave2:

I'm just hopping in from here!

Marshay - LOVE the pics! Your DD is such a sweetie and you are absolutely glowing :goodvibes

Laura - Your pics are great! SO CUTE! Thanks for sharing!

Hi MomMom - I see your light on :goodvibes

Hi to everyone else too!

Have I missed anything big?

Once we lit it up, I thought it looked great. Hubby did all the work and boy were his arms and wrist sore

DSCI0339.jpg

Awesome Pumpkin!!! Many congrats go to hubby. Trent looks like he was having lots fun!

Good Luck Marshay, I hope she does well, but dn't expect miracles too soon I think Kelly went through that with Trent too, as long as there was a diaper he thought well I can pee and poo in this so he did.

Yep, that's what she was doing too...now we're just trying to figure out if she can recognize that she is peeing in the middle of the night, and hopefully train her to catch it before she pees...someone told me to give it 2 weeks...:scared1: but that makes sense since it took her about that long during the day, too.

Actually the costume was one of those I had gotten on Freecycle about 2 years ago. I don't sew (did some latch hook, cross stitch and can sew a button on or close a hole on a stuffed animal but that's it).

Hey Betsy, Sharkey, QM and anyone else on!

We just started getting out the outdoor Halloween decorations tonight and seeing what still works, etc ... DD was so excited.

OK, I'm off to bed...soon.:goodvibes

Well I don't know who she is, that nameless person, but I'm glad she pushed you and you posted these pictures! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

The pictures are wonderful, thank you. I love them. Trent looks adorable as usual and he looks so happy to have his Daddy helping him, that is so sweet. I love the final result, that pumpkin is awesome. I'm so glad he had a good tiem.

That teacher sure was a good sport, she must be a nice lady! :cool1:

I thik you and her are very close;)

Thanks Mom

He had a great time, as did dh.

Yeah, all the teachers there seem really into school spirit, no stick in the muds that I have seen yet:goodvibes

Hey. Am good, minus my cold. How are things with ya?

I just got the Fisher Price mailing and I was telling my hubby we needed another baby because I missed Little People. He was not amused

SOmeone has been bugging me, but she shall remain nameless;)

:rotfl2:

Anyway, here are a few pictures from Family Pumpin Carving nite at the school:

Here is Trent and hubby after design was picked out and taped to the pumpkin:

Here is one with Trent being silly:

DSCI0318.jpg

They made one of the teachers a mummy and the kids were laughing so hard it was deafening, literally

Here are a few shots of that

The lighting was kind of bad in this first shot

DSCI0328.jpg

Here is a better one

DSCI0332.jpg

Here is one with Trent next to the finished pumpkin. To tell what it is, you really have to stare at it

Great pics Sharky!

Steve did a great job :thumbsup2 Huey looks like he had a great time!

We have yet to carve ours, I think maybe tonight or tomorrow night. DD wants a Mickey and Buzz pumpkin. I volunteered for Mickey and DH can do Buzz :upsidedow

Who was bugging you :scratchin :rotfl2:

Good luck with the night training Marshay. I really need to start working with DD to get trained. I keep putting it off and I know that it needs to be done. My one friend said it took her about 2 weeks for the night trainings too. Let's hope your DD takes even less!

I love decorating for Halloween! DD loves driving around and seeing the blow up decorations. We don't have any but boy am I tempted to get a Dracula Mickey!

Ok, doesn't seem like I missed too much!

oooh, I want to see Oprah pics Michele :flower3:

I just got the Fisher Price mailing and I was telling my hubby we needed another baby because I missed Little People. He was not amused

I love that catalog too! I keep pointing things out to DD ;)

Hi all! Sharky - I love the pics! That kind of party seems like a good idea. I would much rather make the mess somewhere other than my house!!!:rotfl2:

Chele - where are your pics????popcorn::

When I got the big TRU book this weekend I decided that I want another boy. Aidan has outgrown all the cute boy toys and I am sad. DH's response - F_ _ _ NO!!!! Not just a regular no, but a very bad word and no! He said that I could promise him something every night for the next 18 years and the answer is still no!:lmao: So I guess I am done. :sad2:

It is 40 degrees today with a chance of snow. :scared1: Looks like another miserable Michigan Halloween!

OK Marshay I need your expertise. I know what I want and I know what I need but don't know how to do it. Sharky has given me ideas and I came up with some ideas but I can't figure out how to ut them into play. We are supposed to decorate our cubicles at work in a movie theme and dress as one of the characters Friday.Well I am going to be tweedle dum but don't know how to decorate the cube. I'm limited as not being hom I dont' have tools, don't have things I could improvise with, etc. We came up with decks of cards, red roses, tea pots, a looking glass, a paint can and paint brush, a lot of hats for the Mad Hatter, a very Merry UNbirthday sign. But how do I make these things in a decent size so I can decorate my cubicle? All I can come up with is printing pictures and stapling them to the walls? I don't want to spend a lot of money but I do want to participate. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:confused3

After ages of trying to figure out how to load pictures from Kodak to photobucket I am successful. My pictures are not the best but they are pictures.

Here is Stacy London.

Here is a banner that I thought was cool.

Here is Gail.

Here is a sign on the side of building that I thought was cute.

Finally here are some Oprah pisctures.

My batteries were almost dead otherwise I am sure they might have been better. I thought the ones of Stacy and Nate were way to dark but I haven't learned how to adjust with this camera but I am going to now.

I took a few pictures with my phone and here they are.

For QM!

And the San Franccisco skyline from one of the third floor windows of Moscone center.

:car: Hello... it is me... doing a drive by. I am sure I've missed a gazillion pages and I don't have time to catch up right now. But I saw Michele posting and I just wanted to say I'm glad you're hand is feeling better!

I've been busy subbing since last Wed. for a teacher that is in the hospital... could be another 2 weeks before she's back. It is in the AU (autism) classroom and it is exhausting... but lots of fun too! I'll try and catch up soon!

Miss y'all! :goodvibes
