well...I had taken over someone else's room...the person that I replaced in this group. She was here for a few weeks so her time was up. It was easiest for Entergy to just keep me in her room. They had no idea the hotel was gonna move me.

What made it worse was that the lady downstairs was SO RUDE. She told me "it's not that big a deal" her and her freaking short hair....yeah, obviously you don't need hair styling tools and you probably don't fix yourself up, so maybe YOU could do without a counter. And it wouldn't have been so bad if I had STARTED OFF without a counter...at least I would not have known what I was missing. The other bathroom had this HUUUUUGE marble counter. I think I might have a pic on photobucket (uploaded them and just didn't post yet)

I had even unpacked some of my clothes into the drawers (figuring 2 weeks is pretty long to live out of a suitcase). And my stuff was in the tub, on the counters, fruit and waters in the fridge. It was not convenient at ALL, especially to move so late at night.

She suggested I "put a towel on the floor and put your stuff on that" Oh, gee thanks lady. I get to do the Elle Woods bend-and-snap move every time I want to set my flat iron down or use a different cosmetic. That'll do wonders for my back.

I ended up grabbing this little low round table that the icebucket was sitting on, and putting it in the bathroom for the meantime. I still am gonna try to change rooms. Maybe won't be able to today, but I know I'll be able to change tomorrow.

that was the bathroom in the other room. Not the best pic but you can tell the counter stretches the wall. I don't have a pic uploaded of the new bathroom yet.

Also the other shower had the towels right behind you, which was convenient. This one is different, with the towels outside the shower, and the shower head sucks too. The other shower was great.

Boy for such a customer oriented business as that desk person is in she sure has a bad stinking attitude. I love the Elle Wood comment. I would go nuts wothout a counter in the bathroom. Where else are you going to let your hair tools cool off? What a jerk. Change rooms in the morning when someone else is on duty. I hope today improves for you.

I moved a little round table that was in the room with the icebucket on it. I might take a picture this evening. I still want to change rooms though...I will attempt to do so after work (hopefully get out at a descent hour today) and if not, then I'll try again tomorrow. According to the witch with a "B" they should have some available TOMORROW. But I'm not relying simply on that, I will still ask today, can't hurt.

yeah, Mike said I should go to her manager. I didn't get her name though. I could describe her though and I'm sure they know who was working last night. Although I have a feeling she'll be there tonight, too.

I also went back to the old room and stole a couple pillows, and was sure to take all the soaps and lotions.

thanks....today has not been bad as far as work goes. Had lunch at IHOP and that was delicious.

well not anymore...they %$%^!%!$$!%^^!$! moved me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I came back to my room and my #%^!$#$ key didn't work.....I went to ask and they said I would have to change rooms because they are going to start renovating the 7th and 8th floor!

WELL, don't freakin LOCK ME OUT OF MY ROOM...here I am with a LAPTOP CASE AND PURSE ON MY ARM AND CAN'T GET IN MY ROOM.....after a LONG DAY of work and dinner...and a MARTINI and 1/2 might I add!!!!

then my new room is a handicap room so it has NO FREAKING BATHROOM COUNTER! I ask and they have NO OTHER ROOMS so I SPEND 30 MINUTES MOVING MY $%^!$^# and here I am.

BUZZ KILLERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, no! I hope you're able to snag another room today. That sucks that all that has to happen at night when you're tired and buzzing. What a headache!
