I'm mostly worried that Mike will be home alone, and I will have a ton of laundry when I get back (he changes once a day usually) I told Mike he better at least wash towels...those are easy. (he's not so good with laundry)

I hear ya...I could be folding my towels right now but I decided to call it a night on the house work. Hopefully I'll finish what I need to get done tomorrow (including packing)

I didn't really read back...today has been nuts with trying to get ready for the trip. I hate leaving my house unorganized so it always seems like double the pressure to get things done Makes me wonder why I just do not stay organized all the time and then I would have one less worry

No....I am gonna get my laundry done tomorrow, then pack. I hadn't really unpacked everything from Disney yet. So most of my toiletries are ready, just got to throw it in a different suitcase cuz I'm not taking the same one that I took to Disney.

I don't think I mentioned (on here) yet that they honored my request for a rental car. The thing I hadn't thought about was HOW I AM GOING TO GET TO THE RENTAL PLACE. My dad asked me today. I was like...."oh $%@! I hadn't thought of that!" I may have them come pick me up. The other option would be to leave my car there and have Mike get one of his friends to drop him off sometime after work so he can drive it home.

Which would you do?

I would ask your Dad to take you. That way it is all taken care of and nothing else needs to be done. Either way works but I like to take care of everything...drives DH nuts...but it makes me feel better

oh...I must have not worded that right. My dad is the one that made me realize I hadn't figured that piece out yet. He just had surgery when I was on vacation, so I don't think he's supposed to be driving yet.
I could get Enterprise to pick me up (as their commercial always says "we'll pick you up")....it's either that or leave my car over there and have Mike get it after work.

I have that thing too! Isn't it cool? Mine needs batteries right now...and I'm too lazy to take it down and change them.

oh that's alright...didn't feel excluded but wanted to put it out there that I'm not a mom just in case my advice was not good since I have not been through anything like that.

I read in your post above that someone even suggested that you are not a christian because of your non compliance with the allergy thing. My God, can they be any more judgemental!? If anything these women aren't being very good friends to you if they are judging you in that way. That is so insulting.

so does this allergy mom expect you to NEVER have dairy and those other things in your home even when their not around? Of COURSE you would wash your surfaces before they came over. I'm sure you wash them constently since you are a mother and don't want your DD or your DH getting sick or anything like that. I think it is just insanely rude how these women are being to you. It is not cool how they are subjecting you to such stress while you are pregnant over something like this anyways. How long have you been part of the play group? And why is this allergy issue just coming up now?
