Hi All! I am hoping one of you will know the answer :) I am trying to match my text to a logo in Mircosoft word and powerpoint. The logo is PMS 307 blue
How in the world do I get my text color to match it?

PMS 307
RGB (Web) Equivalent
0070B2
CMYK Equivalent
C: 100.0
M: 6.0
Y: 0
K: 34.0

Thanks

I do not have Word or Powerpoint here at home so I can't give you specifics. The "0070B2" is a hexadecimal (base 16) code used by the computer to generate a specific color. Each 2 digits (yes the B is considered a digit here) tell the computer what amount to add red, green or blue. In this case it's 00 for red, 70 for green and B2 for blue. In the regular old decimal system (base 10) it's red: 00, green: 112 and blue: 178. There may be a way to use these numbers on the color palette somewhere or there may be an advanced color palette option. The CMYK numbers are straight decimal and refer to the colors cyan, magenta, yellow and black.

Not sure if any of that will help. I can check when I get in to work tomorrow and possibly give you a more specific answer.

Thank you SO MUCH Dom13 :worship:
That worked perfectly and matches!!!

Okay Dom 13, since you are the guru and I have no idea how you came up with that; what about
PMS 185
RGB (Web) Equivalent
EA0437
CMYK Equivalent
C: 0
M: 91.0
Y: 76.0
K: 0

Thank you!!

You can use this site to convert each 2 digit number.

http://www.easycalculation.com/hex-converter.php

EA0437 or red: EA (234), green 04 (4) and blue 37 (55).

Note that the converter may be case sensitive. Also any number 01-09 is the same in hexadecimal and decimal.

Also note that just because a number appears to be decimal it's not. In the example above 37 is actually 55. The 37 translates out as 3 X 16 + 7. The letters A-F represent 10 through 15 respectively.
