Is there a food that totally disgusts you to prepare, but you really enjoy eating? Mine is chicken. Raw chicken just gives me the creeps....:scared1:

chicken for me also. Yuck, the texture of the meat as you trim the fat....ugh makes me queezy.

But nothing is better than a thick, cheesy piece of chicken parmasean!

Chicken for me too. If I have to clean it, I can't eat it. I give that job to DH.

Yes, Chicken! I will not even look at it on the bone unless it's coated with crunchy batter. It really grosses me out when I'm cutting it into chunks for soup or something... ewww! Sometimes I'll spend the extra money for the pre cut slices just to avoid that. :p

cherry stones. Hate'm even when I chase'm with a cold beer.Terrible!!!!!

PEAS!!!!!! They are the Devils vegetable!:crazy2:

I love to eat chicken, but I hate preparing it :crazy2: . I can't ever see myself preparing a turkey either b/c I get grossed out whenever I see my mom preparing a turkey to cook :crazy2: :crazy2: .

We bought a lobster once and that totally freaked me out - too many spindly legs for my liking!

I hate shelling king prawns (shrimps) but I love the taste! :flower:

Chicken for me too. I love the way it tastes, cooked almost any way - but I hate preparing it. Especially when chicken breasts have that long rubbery thing. What IS that thing???

It looks like a tapeworm - yuck.

I hate touching shrimp. I don't like to eat shrimp either. I make it for DH sometimes, and it's truly a labor of love!!

:crazy2: I think it's a vein!!!!!!!!!! ('nuff said)

My DH does the chicken........you should see the bleach flying around the kitchen after he is done. No a chicken splatter in sight!

Tomatoes - now those are Satan's vegetable!!!!

Also, cleaning out the poop vein with shrimp..........but afterward, eating them - yum!!

I SO totally agree!

I love the taste of Worcester Sauce but the smell makes me gag :scared:

My best friend drinks Prego from the jar. YUCK!!! Now I can't stand the smell or sight of it.:scared:

I know EXACTLY what "thing" you are talking about, it IS totally disgusting. It is is the tenderloin part of the breast-the premium part of the chicken, at least by price! I thought it was a tendon, but it might be a vein...Ewwww.....I'm having hamburgers tonight-not too bad until I start thinking about where it comes from and what might be in it..... I may go back to being a vegetarian. Except then there's tofu.....Hmmmmm:( Maybe one of those people who only eat fruit after it has fallen from the tree......

Y'all haven't seen disgusting until you've seen the "delicacies" of the Far East.:crazy2:

There's so much stuff served here as "fine dining" that wouldn't even be acceptable as fish bait back home.:teeth:

I try some of it, but I can't be fooled into believing that it's all as good as they think/say.

I'll never look at Prego quite the same again.

For me, It's shrimp. I hate shelling and deveining them, but it is so worth it.
