Disgusted with a DCL CM

No, it did not involve children specifically. Please, please, please let me repeat that your children are NOT AT RISK because of this situation.

This does not involve any physical abuse/attack/molestation. It is the CM's PERSONALITY and what she did with it that is the problem here

Thank you for clarifying that it did not involved the kids sailingby. I had that nagging thought that there may have been some kind of issue with them - and I think you are on the right path to deal directly with DCL and let them address it. No point in wild heresay, speculation,etc. Sometimes it is best to keep it between you and DCL.

I agree but OP please contact DCL asap. It's just a matter of time until one of your PMs are from a DCL lurker, press, etc.

I have been on 3 Disney cruises and all though I am not as loyal to DCL as some others, I will say that I have never had anything but almost perfection when it comes to service.

Well....our last cruise we had a few "hiccups", but I think we were dealing with some new CM's that were training for when other CM's left the Wonder to go over to the Dream. Don't worry our "hiccups" were nothing at all that would prevent me from cruising again...our cruise was still WONDERful!

However I wanted to point out that your lack of wanting to post is actually making things worse for the other 2,900 people who have looked at this. The first thing that comes to my mind is what is so bad they can't post it? A name doesn't even need to be used. I'm thinking horrible things that could be the cause of this, which of course could be WAY off base. However the only reason I'll know is because I'm asking. Most people, obviously, won't ask. That means they're just scared off. Possibly from cruising at all, but mostly from DCL. Might want to post minimal info to avoid this.

The OP did post minimal info.......there is nothing to worry about while you are cruising. You need to send a PM and others do also if they are that worried. The OP is taken care of this situation the correct way.

Although in this era of posting reviews, naming names, and other such things - it is somewhat different and perhaps nice to see someone with a complaint trying to work things out with the company instead of just firing a post off on a board.

I have Pm'd the OP and asked what happened - We're not cruising again for a while - thinking Wonder in 12 or Fantasy - but we'll see...

On all 3 of our cruises we were treated well by CM's. The closest we came to having any issues was with character handlers - who (understandably) have to cut the lines off somewhere.

I wouldn't stop at contacting DCL I would contact corporate Disney in California to make sure they make an example of this cast member to all their cast members worldwide.

I do not know yet exactly what happened; I'm waiting for my PM reply. However, many of us have gone on multiple cruises. If you put them all together, there have been very few problems. I'm totally not minimzing what Sailing has said or whatever the problem is. Sailing did clarify for us though that it is not a safety issue.

Don't sweat the small stuff, you will have a blast!

I received the pm from the OP and you do not have to worry about your cruise. Go and enjoy it.....no harm will come to you or your family while you are on the cruise........the issue is something that happened after the cruise. Relax and enjoy the magical time you and your family will experience.
