We are up by 6:30 - 7 am - and a ready and at the parks at rope drop... we follow TGM plans and they have never failed us... it makes touring soooooooo much easier!!!

This is our 1st TGM trip and we are going to do the same thing...to help with us getting to the parks at/before opening I have scheduled 8am ressies at AK (Donald's), MGM (Hollywood & Vine) and MK (CRT)...hopefully the other days we can get up and get out without the bribe of breakfast.

Courtney - the pictures are great...it looks like you were having a lot of fun!!

I can't sleep late when I am at Disney World I am too excited to sleep, so we are up and at rope drop most every morning-usually 30 minutes early to get to the front of the line to get to the best rides first. We usually can get so much done in the first 2-3 hours the park is open. Then we go back for the mid day dip in the pool to cool down and a short rest to regroup and then hit the parks again in the evening. My oldest son is autistic and he needs his down time at the pool and room mid day to get a break from th overstimulation of the parks. If he doesn't get it, he gets really cranky and could melt down-not a fun time. So for all of you stalkers out there who plan to meet up with us, if my son doesn't speak or make eye contact, he's not being rude-he's autistic.

So for all of you stalkers out there who plan to meet up with us, if my son doesn't speak or make eye contact, he's not being rude-he's autistic.

I have met a few people who have been autistic and I totally understand. There was a time that I wondered if Evan was autistic as he was sooooooooo shy that he never made eye contact and needed speech therapy. Actually, he is still shy, so I'm sure when you meet him you'll understand!

DM: Thanks! I got my dress at Talbots Petites. I splurged and bought two new dresses there - one for the dinner dance and one for graduation this Friday. I figured, if DANA could have new dresses, why not me, too?!

Courtney: Your photos are terrific! You are a doll. Ryan's not too bad either. And to repeat the sentiment already mentioned a few times: OH TO BE THAT THIN AGAIN!

Hi everyone! I spent the day with some sort of stomach bug. It was not fun. I'm up and feeling better now, though, and even managed to get some strawberries down!

On our first two trips to the World, we always got up early for park openings. Then we got lazy and have been sleeping in, having a leisurely breakfast, maybe doing some swimming and then going to the parks, often doing eveing EMH. I don't think that's going to cut it this trip, though. We're used to going at slow times of the year. So I plan on following TGM's plans. I just have to get DH on board. Hopefully he'll listen to reason! We'll have some rest/sleep in days too.

I'm another one with a small kid. Antonia just had a major growth spurt in the last 2 months. Before that she was wearing mostly 3T. And she's 7! Just last weekend I had to hit Old Navy to buy her a whole new summer wardrobe because she grew so much so fast that she didn't fit into anything! Now she's wearing between a size 5 and 6. It's sad not to have to shop in the baby section anymore!

Renee - Dana looks beautiful! And so do you! What a great picture of your family!

Courtney - looks like you had a much more fun day than me! And as everyone has already said, you look great with or without makeup.

I'm glad you are feeling better. I hope your DD & DH don't get it. I had something like that Thursday afternoon/night. I took one of my employees out to lunch to Longhorn Steakhouse and around 4:30 I got sick. It lasted most of the evening but by Friday morning I was fine. It's better for us to get this over with now...maybe we won't be sick on our trips!!!

I am scared to death of being sick on vacation! Hopefully all will get/stay healthy! Last year Avery had a pretty good asthma attack while we were down there. Luckily, we had brought her meds with us, or we would have been in trouble. She has the type that causes coughing and excessive mucus, but not the life threatening stuff. If we can't get her under control quickly, she will develop pheumonia... has had it 4 times by age 3, twice she was very near being hospitalized. She seems to be growing out of the asthma, so maybe we won't have problems this time around.

I'll load pictures of the concert tomorrow.... Did yall watch Nashville Star? If you did, do you remember David St. Romain from Baton Rouge? Well he was there tonight and I got a picture with him! He was so nice!

And Josh Turner was AWESOME in concert! He was great--- Mandy-- You would have LOVED him!!!!!

So glad ya'll had such a good day Courtney! We have been busy, but nothing fun. Cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping... typical day for us! I had to get up at 5:15 this AM to get Tucker ready to go fishing with his buddy at 6. I did go back to bed after he left... but it just isn't the same. Now I have to bake brownies to take to church tomorrow... then I can go to bed! Problem is I'm too tired to get up and get moving! What I really want to do is get all snuggly on the couch...

My goodness. So much to catch up on. We were off to see my ILs this weekend and went to the "Strawberry Festival" there. Three and a half hours each way. We left last night and just got in a little bit ago. blah.

Courtney, you're gorgeous and you know it! Oh, to be that thin again!

I have tiny children as well. Michael will be five this month and is 32 pounds full clothed. Danae is three and 1/2 and is 27 pounds fully clothed. I was 36 pounds at age six so I suspect they take after me. The downfall is that once they hit adulthood, they got nothing but weight to look forward too.

Oh, my ILs celebrated ds' bday today and DS got a Cars chair, a Little Einstein's remote control rocket and two Disney shirts. They also got Danae an adorable tee with the princesses on it so I think we're all set with clothing for the kids. Yeah! She also made Michael an overall with Cars decor and is working on one with Peter Pan decor. Danae got a Sunflower one and is getting a Cinderella one. I'm so excited and they are going to love them!

I love the little decorated overalls! Tucker wore some, but not tons. When he was little, he was very big for his age (26 pounds at 1 yr, size 3-4T at 2 yrs). Avery wears quite a bit of them. I even made and sold some on ebay last year around Christmas.

For those Driving to Disney...

How often do you stop? What kind of snacks do you bring with you in the car?

We stop only to get gas, eat and restroom breaks. So maybe 3 or 4 times.

As for the kids sleeping in the car mine still done it. And to keep them busy we pack dvd's, gameboys, Mp3/ipods, books to read, (DS) paper and pencils for to draw on. They also have their own travel pillows and blankets. DD will sleep the whole way if we let her. She trys to when we go to Louisianna, that is a two day trip.

TNMom what a lovely large house for you and your boys. Bet that they are going to enjoy having all that space to play in. I really liked the master bath.

TNMom, been through your town, we went and visited hubby's best friend last year, lives in downtown Nashville. We even drove on the Murfreesboro hwy/turnpike. While we where there we went to the zoo, the Opry mall and the Hotel. It is nice to go up there for a visit but Don't care for the big city.

Courtney- you would look great in a potato sack without make-up. Glad that you got to met David St Romain. Great pics.

SiningMom- loved your pictures. Dana looks like her father. I have been there with the clothes. I'm 4'11" and I weighed only 85lbs when I was Dana's age and was wearing a size 10 in the girls department. Don't worry about it she will feel out and be glad that you can still shop in the girls department. Haley is wearing a size 14 in girls or jr's 0 depending on the name brand she is 13 also.

I'm glad you're starting to feel better Brittany. Think of it as better to be sick now, than 19 days from now...

I'm worried here. Conjunctivitis has been going around the boys school pretty bad. In fact, one little boy in Alec's class and whom Alec sits with on the bus had it. Please, if they get it let it be now! They had it once at the end of our Ocean City, MD, vacation and we left a day early. Oh it was awful but at least our doctors' office called in an Rx for them w/o being seen.
