This is soooo funny. There is another thread that has another crocheted TP holder and everyone is doing it. Yet, I wanted to be the "rebel" and do a whole different one. I've been ordered to change it by 10 pm today...we'll just see about that! Look up Team Focker Watch Chat then skip to page 42!

Let's see. Tipping. 20%!! Where have I been living. We tip 15%, a touch more if really good. And I live in Chicagoland. I hope I'm not screwing people over.

Housekeeping. Never heard of tipping the housekeeper. That's news to me.

The house is very cute! If I were redoing the pictures, I'd probably remove the TV from the one picture. It just draws your eyes to it and you don't want that. I love the little nook you have. I want one!!

When we go to a hotel, like Renee I don't worry about germs too much. We run into germs so much more on door handles at stores and such that I can't panic. I don't unpack but that's because I always worry that I'm gonna forget something in a drawer. I always check the drawers before I leave though. Anyways, I usually turn on all the lights and open the blinds, check the bathroom for cleanliness and check all drawers, cabinets and under the bed for things that aren't mine, etc. Then I sit and read the booklet that comes in the hotel that tells you what services they have and where I can order in. LOL.

Mother's Day we're spending with my extended family and my mother's new (small) place. It'll be me, my parents, my three sisters and their families. That's about 14 of us and one on the way? Who knows what we'll eat. Probably grill food. Ah yes, and my son is the oldest child. Wheeeee!!

Oh and accents. I don't have an accent but people do tell me they can't quite place my alledged "accent". I'm from the midwest (Chicagoland born and bred) but English is my second language and you can tell something's not quite right with my accent but I don't sound (to anyone I've ever met) that English is not my first language. Does that make any sense?

My sister on the other hand moved to Texas for about four years in hs and one year of college and left with a Texas accent but now has a midwest accent again. My dh is the same way. If he's talking to someone from the midwest, its a midwest accent. If the person's from the south, its southern. He can do them all...subconsciously!!

Hosting a surprise party(not surprise now)For MIL for mother's day.Two inlaws showed up, plus hubby and his brother who lives here. We are going to have crawfish, crab and ribs today, yesterday I cooked to roast, taters , carrots, gravy, peas and mac-n-cheese. Tomorrow- think it will be chicken.

Yay!!! Crawfish and crabs!!! LOVE them!!!!! Can't wait to hear how YUMMO they are!

We have eaten at a Red Robin once. There is one about 20 minutes from here. It was really good! Gotta love the bottomless steak fries!!! Did you hear that Courtney??

WHAT???????????? Bottomless fries????????? OMG-- does Red Robin sell out franchises??? I'd open one here and eat there every day!!!

We tip 18 - 20% in our area (Northern NJ).
We "unpack" when we are staying longer than overnight. I get too confused if it's in the suitcase. lol And I do the same thing, Wendy - read the "room directions" so I know that I'm not missing anything!! I especially like to know check out open and close times if they have an indoor pool and hot tub.

Haven't been to a movie in ages - Bob & Dana had a "daddy & me" date last night and went to see Spiderman 3.. I stayed home and DIS'ed!

Okay..we are not going to the theater. It's out on DVD and we got it for free. Free = okay in my book! I like funny stupid. I guess Ryan and I should hook up, eh? I am so his type...that is if he likes chubby redheads with certainly not an accent!

Oh...I just got off the phone from CK! She called and left a message on my cell. I called her back. That chic is by her pool while I'm freezing up here! And yes...she has a very distinct southern drawl - just like you Courtney.

Just asked Mick and he thinks he says Mary but with different accentuations. Whatever that means. It all sounds the same to me. At least in his midwest accent. Its definetly different in his southern drawl. He can't even get his New York accent right now though. Any New Yorkers wanna give him a call? LOL


Movies? What are movies? I think I saw saw like five years ago...or maybe it was a dream...

We went and saw Meet the Robinsons with the kids. That's about it for us.
