We have Walmarts and Super Walmarts around here. Some are nicer than others. Depends on what part of time they are in. I may have to stop at a couple for those fans though.

Anyone doing a photopass? I'm considering and not sure if I want to. Not sure how many photos I'd get taken. I have also considered sharing the cost with someone but not sure how that exactly works. I, OTOH, will take lots of pics on my digital and need to find some cheap memory cards.

I will be doing Photopass for sure. I think the whole key to it is start from day one and tell the first photographer that you want him to take a lot of pictures because you are planning on buying the CD (even if you never do). I plan on buying the CD so I am going to put them Photopass photographers to work!

Yes, we have Super Wal-Marts and man was it a madhouse in there today. And no we do not have tax free holiday here. I prefer Target too, SingingMom, but you really can't beat walmart prices.

Hello everyone... back from greeting my nephew on his arrival home from Iraq .. he looks great... had fun at dinner with everyone... but I think I have a severe sprain or a frature of my wrist.... can't tell yet... swelling...pain...*****ing....ouch!!!!... Will go to the doctors tomorrow...

You do deserve a trophy for being a good MOM... because whether people agree with what you say or not you are doing what is BEST for YOUR children... to me that is what being a good parent is about... causing a little trouble on the other board.....well they will just have to get over it ......love those little fans... did you get them at Walmart on Rt 31? in what department?

SingingMom.... I sooooooooooo know what you mean about some staff at the schools... my DS has a band director that is a JERK!!!! I am VP of our Band Boosters and my DD is Drum Major... we are really involved.... anyway he doesn't always like what we do at the high school... (he is the 8th grade band director)... so he takes it out on my son.... only 2 more months..... tell Dana GREAT JOB on her production.... next year maybe she will get her big break!!!

Thank you Wendy. Yes, I found them at the Wal-Mart on Rt 31. It's so hard for me to tell you exactly where it was because I think it's hard to find things in that store. Anyways, enter the store and go left past the clothing and the party goods. Take a right somewhere near the toys and go back near were there are different fans and hardware, laundry detergent, mumbo jumbo . They are at the end of an aisle almost on an endcap. Now, there are small handheld fans one place, and large misting fans in another place, and the fans I found in a totally different aisle. It really took some looking but they were there - hanging up. Glad I didn't give up looking.

Definately get a MAC. I just ordered my MAC friday and it will be here by the 8th. You honestly can't beat them. PM me and I can try and help you out as best as I can with whatever you need to find in a computer and price range.

Thanks, Maggie! And so happy your nephew is HOME! My cousin's son just returned from his second tour of duty in Iraq with the Marines. We are so happy he is safe! My other cousin's son, my godson, just left for Bahrain with the Navy. Now we have to pray for HIS safe return!

I do ALL of my shopping out our Super Wal-Mart. You really can't beat the prices. I went to Target today b/c I was swimsuit shopping, and I got a few other house things when I was there (q-tips, kleenex, paper plates, etc), and even those type things are more expensive than WM. I LOVE Great Value brand at WM!!!

MaggieD-- Yes, our Mother/Daughter day was fantastic... It really was fun.

Kari-- Don't want to get involved in the flea markets only b/c Waggin' Rags isn't my full time job. If I were ready to truthfully invest in it, I'd probably be doing a lot more... But the truth is, I just don't have the time. But I do like to do festivals and things--- only when it's worth it, and this one was not. I plan on writing a letter to the people in charge... They won't be excited to hear from me!

So I Have another fellow lover of Super Walmart. Really things are cheaper there, like shampoo,deodarant etc.. then the regular grocery stores. If I just need a few food items, I shop the local grocery storemfor that.
