Ok for all you non dog lovers.. you may just want to skip this post.

Golden retrievers are my all time favorite dog We got "Qtip"(She was a Qtip for 2 yrs before we adopted her )from the local SPCA..that was 5 yrs ago. She is the best dog ever. Heres a dog story...sorry for you non dog lovers, this may bore you
When my black lab died, I knew I wanted another dog. Ive always like to have 2 dogs at a time. Anyways, I wanted to adopt from the local Golden retriever rescue group. I know in these rescue groups the dogs are living in foster homes. I figured that way Id have a better idea on the dogs personality that way. Anyways, these two people came out for a home visit. At this time, we hadnt even picked out a dog we liked. They like to do the home visits first. Anyways, we had never had a home visit. They talked to us, asked questions, looked around the house. The lady knew I do dog sitting, she knew I was a sahm etc..
She said they would get back to me. 2 days later she called me and said that I was not suited for another large dog WHAT... I have been dogsitting for over 10 yrs, I could of given this lady at least 10 references from customers who only board with me. She went onto say that I just had too much going on in my house, and that goldens like to chew, and I have a lot of toys etc... I was so OFFENDED... I couldnt believe they turned me down They want to get these dogs adopted yet I have the perfect set up here,my dogs get treated like royality but I was not good enough.
I found another all breeds rescue group, which is where I adopted my yellow lab mix from...Apparently they thought I was suited well enough for a dog...Since then I volunteer with them as well. I do phone work two days a week, and I also do foster dogs. It took me about 6 months of convincing to do the foster thing. We are on our 4th foster dog..

Sorry If Ive bored anybody with this story...

I wasn't bored. I would be very upset too. Meanwhile their are some owners that leave there dog in a crate for 12+ hours but that's okay?

I saw that earlier. Good for you all! I was telling my mom today that I was excited about meeting my DIS friends while we're down in Disney World. She said, "That's nice." Some people just don't get it.

I know- Ryan still thinks I'm a little too crazy about the DIS... If he only knew.

I'm in the same boat...DH thinks I'm crazy and so do the people at work...then when I told them about the Focker Watch thing they just looked at me funny!!

I believe you...there's no way a Louisiana girl like you and Alabama girls like Crazy Kanga & me have accents...

Hi, I was up and on the boards early this morning but didn't see anyone else. Then I monogrammed luggage tags & travel pillows for DD & I for our Washington DC trip in 2 weeks. Then I had to go pick her up from the slumber party...they didn't go to bed until 3am...she's going to be in a WONDERFUL mood later!!

Have any of you seen the new shirts at Disneyshopping.com? I got DH & oldest DD yellow ones and me & youngest DD lime green ones. I thought they were really cute!! They have 15% off and $5 shipping so I got all 4 for less than $40.

Okay I need some help and I trust ya guys. I need a hair style for Friday. Something simple and doesn't involve a curling iron. I do have pictures of the top and i'm wearing either jeans or a jean skort with knee high boots. So any ideas?

It doesn't matter. It's shorter in the back than the front area actually maybe by an inch.

Do you ever just pull the front up? I do that quite often... Just bobby pin it or put a flat barrette... Or you could just do half up, half down and hair spray it. It's hard if you don't want to use a curling iron though....

I had to post this picture for DM-olic... This is the day we saw Jimmy Buffet in concert for FREE!!!! FREE I tell you--- With VIP tickets to all you can eat and drink.... But, my hair is fixed with the front up... Doesn't look so great b/c it was HOT and RAINY (bad for the hair), but that's kinda what I'm talking about... You could make it totally cute!

That's good that she has been company to you since Ryan was at work. Did you get a lot of sewing done today? Do you make all of the dresses yourself?
