Sorry I missed everyone today! I have been hopping ALL DAY!! Finally sat down and had 8 pages to catch up on!

DM- sounds like you had a fun shopping trip! I never try clothes on in stores, as the lighting and mirrors give me a complex. I just buy and return!

As for my doggie - we usually try to coordinate vacations with my Mom. We keep her dog (a cocker spaniel named Quincy) when she goes out of town, and she keeps Star (lab/chow mix) when we are gone. We have an electric fence around our 3/4 acre back yard, and she has tons of room to roam. We have yard, woods, and a creek, so she is in doggie heaven... chasing squirrels and deer every morning! When my mom can't keep her, then we leave her outside, and have a neighbor who will check on her food and water, and let her into the house each night to sleep. She loves her doghouse... but her favorite place to sleep is in our recliner (refered to as "Star's chair!")

Today I had to take yard sale donations to my church for myself and my mom. Between us (mostly my mom) we completely filled my Suburban, and had to put 2 boxes in her car! Then I had to go to Tucker's soccer game. Then take both kids to a birthday party. I'm quite sure the burger, soda, and cake are NOT on my diet... but ate them anyway. Then went by my church to buy BBQ plate for dinner for a Relay for Life fundraiser they were having. Went all out and got the soda and brownie, since I had blown the diet for the day already! Finally got the kids bathed and in bed around 10. Tomorrow promises to be even busier!

DM- mentioning Tucker made me remember your post about jeans for Evan... I buy Tucker's at Kohl's. Do you have one of those? Their Sonoma jeans have the elastic in the waist like maternity pants, so you can adjust them. Tucker is a size 8 in length, and a 6 in the waist because he is so thin. He'll be 9 yrs old next month, and 55 pounds. We have to take him to the Dr every 3 months to get his weight checked, and his little arms and legs look skeletal. Why couldn't this be my problem...:rolleyes1

This pic is dark, but you can really see how thin he is.

Well... I'm obviously way past tired and beginning to ramble, so I will call it a night! I'll try to catch up with you all tomorrow night!

It's a shot glass of course!!!!

Rags-- comeon now... You know that right?!

I'm BACK FROM BOSTON - and it will take me HOURS to read all that I've missed here, but I'm trying....:surfweb: :hippie:
(I vote with Courtney - it's a shot glass!)

But.. I had to comment on the shot glass.. my husband collects them from all the places we visit... I bought him one in Boston this week - it has two lobsters on it and says "Hey Bob! How's the water?.. Bob??? BOB?!?" and poor Bob is in the pot on the stove... I probably looked like a fool, laughing in the middle of the shop... but I had to have it for MY BOB! :lmao:

Back to reading... I think I have ten more pages to go!! :surfweb:

Hey kids, have you seen Fantasmic yet? It's my FAVORITE nightime show :stir:

:rolleyes1

No! Didn't get to see it last June... need to look at the schedule to see when we can go this time.

Oh - guess what - hold on to your hats - I MADE AN ADR! WOO HOO :woohoo: Let's hear it for Renée! :woohoo:

DD wants to go to Rose & Crown and we missed it last year. We are going Friday, June 22 at 6pm I believe.

That's it - no more planning. :rotfl:

Good morning all... sounds like everyone has had a busy weekend.... My DH and I finally did our taxes... first time in years we are getting a rebate:cool1: ....I did a little shopping (spend that rebate!!!), a little work, and now getting ready to settle down waiting for the big snow storm to hit.... maybe a good day to do laundry:laundy: , surf the disboards,:surfweb: cook some soup, surf the disboards :surfweb: , watch a movie :happytv: , surf the disboards....:surfweb:... also have to think about what I am going to pack... next weekend my DH and I are chaperoning my DD band trip to Williamsburg VA... 3 days with 120 high school kids.... I have done it before but not my poor DH - he will be so stressed:eek: :rotfl2: the kids will compete and then we have a day a Busch Gardens and a morning at Colonial WIlliamsburg... then we come come home.. sounds like fun :rolleyes1 have a great morning!!!

Yum!!! Beef or chicken? Hard or soft?
Both. I like it hard (oh yeah, baby! :lmao: ) and Rob likes it soft. I actually break up the shell and make it into a taco salad. Alec wouldn't eat the tacos so he had leftover pizza.

I had to post this picture for DM-olic... This is the day we saw Jimmy Buffet in concert for FREE!!!! FREE I tell you--- With VIP tickets to all you can eat and drink.... But, my hair is fixed with the front up... Doesn't look so great b/c it was HOT and RAINY (bad for the hair), but that's kinda what I'm talking about... You could make it totally cute!

Okay. Officially putting you on the STINKER list. I hope those people behind you had stinky feet! :rotfl2:

Thanks. Yes, we do have a Kohl's but I don't go there too often. Maybe I'll check it out for Evan. The Wrangler jeans at K-Mart have an elastic waist so it helps them stay up on him. Evan was born preemie and has always been very skinny. You can see his ribs both front and back. Then, there's Alec who is bordering overweight. It's so hard to control that as Evan needs to eat and it's hard to say no to Alec. :confused3 At least Brookie is perfect. princess:

Have a great day Courtney! I love football too, more professional though, but still football is great!

We all skipped church today. Evan and Brookie are now sick with bad coughs and Brookie actually woke up in the middle of the night. She had coughed so hard that she threw up all over herself and her bed. I got her cleaned up while Rob changed the bed. She then slept with me the rest of the night and Rob slept on the couch! That was great because the 2 of us slept in until 9:45 am. That felt WONDERFUL!

Good morning everyone.
Have fun today Courtney.
Sorry to hear about the sick kids DM hope they get to feeling better. Dh is sick too, but starting to feel a little better. Oh, and I did break down and tell him about the Wishes cruise. Of course he immediately asked "How much is that gonna cost us?" Once I told him I was working on splitting the cost with some of my other DIs friends, he was OK with it for the most part, but he still thinks we are all weird for having "internet friends". He said do you really know these people? I said well of course I do. We tell each other everything from what we had for supper to what we bought at the store that day. He just rolled his eyes.:sad2: He thinks we are all such geeks, but he secretly loves Disney too, so he doesn't give me too hard of a time about it.

The Nor'Easter is on it's way here. This picture is of my deck (notice where my dog rolls around on the deck) and backyard at 10:45 am. It stinks because our flower were just starting to poke through the ground. I'm hoping that it doesn't get too bad ...

Yes, it was better to tell hubby about the Wishes cruise now. At least he's good with it after the cost issue.

I remember when I first started on these boards and couldn't imagine people actually meeting each other. I chose the name Disneyolic because there was no way anyone was going to know my real name! Boy, has all that changed. I can't wait to meet some of you (I'd say all but I know our schedules don't permit). What better place to meet up than Disney World? Plus, if you all turn out to be psychos then at least we are in a public place :lmao: .

Kari and DM
My youngest is about to turn 11 and weighs only about 60 lbs. He is so tiny we have problems with clothes too. He wears an 8 and they are still too big in the waist. Target and The Gap have those with the elastic buttoned bands in the waist that are a big help.

Yeah, we are psychos, but I figure most of us here are, I mean we are all chatting away with total strangers!:rotfl2:

I'm excited... I never did the sorority thing but I sure do have fun watching them entertain... It's going to be a blast!

Right now all you psychos are my "best friends" as you probably are the best listeners about anything and everything Disney!!!!!
