I might as well get me a lime green one. Do you know how long it takes to get them in?

The page said ships in 2 business days. I did order princess sheets for DD, so I don't know if that will affect the ship time.

I had my travel agent schedule me the princess breakfast in Norway yesterday. I was worried about what I would get since it is so late... but I requested 10 and she got me 10:05, so I am thrilled! Now I have to rearrange my itenerary, since that was our DTD morning. And reschedule pool time! :scared1: I hate it when I make changes!

What day did you do your rescheduling so I can make the changes on our first page?

The only thing to add is Norway breakfast at 10:05 on June 19. I didn't have DTD listed, but we will probably be there Wed, June 20 AM.

I just checked out your pre-trippie... very nice!

As for "what am I looking most forward to?".....
hmmm... the champagne in France, the first glimpse of the castle, sitting by the pool at the Dolphin with one of those rum drinks, and the "Heavenly Beds" at the Dolphin! :cloud9:

Love how much of what you are looking forward to are those yummy drinks! I have to agree with you there! There's nothing like "relaxing" a little while you're on vacation!!!!

The DDP rocks! I love being able to order way too much food, and a dessert at the end! I do so much walking during the day, that I don't even have to feel guilty. Last year I came home 4 pounds lighter!

I ordered myself a T-shirt off of disneyshopping.com last week - just to wear to Primetime - it' lime green with a black Mickey face! Shouldn't miss me now!

I agree-- the DDP is the best program they've ever invented! At home, we go to dinner once a week- every Friday (yay for tonight!!!). And when we eat, we never get an app, or a dessert. So, the DDP is SUCH a treat... Out to eat every day.... App, entree, adn dessert!!!! Can't beat that!

Can't wait to see your shirt!!!!! Yes!!!!! The better to stalk you with, my dear!!!! sounds so cute!!!!

It happened again. All these posts when I'm away. I want everyone to know that I went to the Disney Store and got a lime green shirt with Tinkerbelle on it! I'm so psyched. :yay:

DM-olic--- You gotta quick being a slacker about reading our posts. Get with it girl--- You gotta keep up :goodvibes

I love the DDP!

I plan on getting it everytime I go to Disney (except for when the kids are 10-13ish, I would like a third price option)

I have a confession. Not a big fan of 50's Primetime:scared1: Didn't really like the menu, and I had the fried chicken which was just OK

I am going to Sci-Fi for the first time ever this trip;) can't wait for a burger with a nice milkshake:drinking1

Hehehehehe!!!! :lmao: That's kinda what this trip is for us too... Our last kickoff to the fun of Disney without kids.... Enjoying everything we can as adults, and being selfish, b/c the next time we go, we'll probably be doing Dumbo the entire time :cutie: ;)

This is GREAT! That's what you get Rags on Rocks... You don't want them, she'll take them! I'd have been the same way! My husband got lucky b/c I wanted two bands, one for each side of my engagement ring... But I got a band passed down from my grandmother that I wear on one side, and then my wedding band on the other side.... And his ring is just white gold, no diamonds either.

Now I really can't wait to see her ring--- she's gonna be blingin'!

We are going to take her little cousins (10 & 5) with us on our next trip (kinda like taking a test drive  ) They are both girls, so it should be interestingpopcorn::

Yeah, my ring is just white gold, it does have a "dull" middle to it though

So two wedding bands? Sounds like someone is spoiled:bride:

Rags and Rocks--- First of all... I'm not spoiled... What would make you think that????? :confused3 :confused3
Well, maybe just a little. But, I told him I'd been dreaming of my wedding set since I was a little girl, and most people only get one (unless they get an upgrade later in the marriage), so I wanted it to be something really nice (and within our budget of course). I'm very happy with what I have, thankyouverymuch! :cutie:

Ryan's band has a dull middle too- it's not shiny.

And, first it's AI bashing, and now you're bashing 50's PTC! Rags, you are really upsetting me here :headache: :headache:

Just kidding- but 50's is in our top TWO FAVORITES!!!!!! We love it-- We're going twice this trip; our first night, and our last night.

The pot roast is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! OH, my I'm dreaming of it now as I'm eating this wonderful plate of lettuce :shamrock: :shamrock: :shamrock: (Well, that's not really a picture of lettuce, but it's close enough, right?)

I think 50's menu looks pretty good, just home cooked foods. (True southern girl here!) The only thing that worries me is... What the heck is root vegetable hash?? Figure I would ask to sub mashed potatos if it looks nasty!:rotfl: I really wanted to try Sci-Fi, but the menu turns me off. They only have the burger at lunch, and I can't eat a big meal in the heat of the day. :crazy2:

I am really looking forward to 50's as I haven't warned DH and the kids about it at all! I'm hoping we get a great waitress. Last year we went to HDDR. One of the show girls spent half the show on DH's lap!

KB- YOu will love it! It's so yummy! Ryan gets the meatloaf and raves about it. I got the potroast and rave about it too! It's the cutest little place too.

I really really really love 50's... And I'm the true southern girl too--- Love mamma's homestyle cookin'!

Last year was our first time back to WDW in 10 years... and we were BUSY BUSY BUSY making up for all that lost time!

This year, we plan to actually "RELAX"! Do the "favorites", stroll through World Showcase, enjoy Downtown Disney a little, water park twice, walk the Boardwalk, enjoy the water launches, and sit by the pool with my "yummy drinks"!

That's why I haven't really made a "schedule".. The only thing I have to schedule is getting to Mass at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Shrine on Sat, June 23 - DH brother and sister-in-law in Jacksonville may drive down to see us for an evening.

But here's something exciting that just happend: my DS and DBiL may be down the same week, staying offsite, with two of their children - 14 and 9... which will be nice for our DD 13 to have someone other than Mom & Dad to ride the rides with...
My sister has a 5 year old permantely brain damaged child in an "open eye coma" and terrible seizures- she was struck with enchephalitis at age 2 and never recovered... she is a nurse, thank goodness, and cares for her 24/7. :sad1: My parents convinced them to take a trip with their older two children, and a friend gave them their timeshare. Just so happens to be the same time we are there.
My sister hasn't told the kids yet, in case things fall through (ie: if my niece is too sick at that point to leave her), but so far they have their flights, and my parents will stay the week at the house. (Luckily, mom is a nurse, too.)
Say a prayer that it works out for them... they SO NEED a vacation. :)

Ryan is a lucky man, cause Scilla is VERY spoiled:bride:

I think another part of it was my waitress wasn't that good. (I know they are supposed to be different, but this one just seemd like a normal waitress going through the motions)

Maybe we'll take the girls to 50's so they can get yelled at:rotfl:

AWWWW SM--- I will cross my fingers that it works out. So sad about your 5 year old neice. Some of the most precious children are the ones that need a little extra caring for. Hopefully they will be able to go and enjoy themselves for a few days. That would be the trip of a lifetime for them!

I wanted to take the super-ultra 12+ day disney vacation, but I was vetoed by the only vote that counts:sad2: so we are going on a cruise:boat:

Good luck to your sister and her family. I hope they get to take the trip

Yeah, it's all in your server. I was picking with "Cousin Jeff"... making faces behind his back, reiterating the fact that I asked for more water, um, 15 minutes ago, and I was still waiting on it (so, yeah, I was serious about being thirsty, but was being pushy in a joking way with him)... He put me in the corner and made the entire room yell at me... Ryan got it on video camera and it was so funny! Thank goodness I had had a glass or two of wine or else I'd have been slightly embarrased!

Thanks, Courtney! She IS a precious angel. Even sadder, since she was a spitfire 2 year old before this happened. My sister is SO TIRED... she doesn't have much help because not many nurses can handle the extreme care this little one needs. I'm amazed that she is finally going to take a break - I'm glad too, since I think the older two children need it. They are wonderful and patient, but they deserve to see Disney and remember it. The last time they were there was about 7 years ago.

and let me say, too... you are NOT spoiled! :goodvibes you are just a girl who "knows what she wants"! After 20 years, I just "upgraded" my diamond.. I wanted a marquis originally, but DH bought a solitaire. And.. for Christmas, I got two thin channel set bands to wear on either side of the engagement ring! For my 10th anniversary I got a diamond band for my right hand, With 25 coming up in 5 years, I gave DH the choice of a new diamond band to go with my new solitaire, or large diamond stud earrings.
(I like my jewelry!) and RAGS.... I"M NOT SPOILED, EITHER!!!:goodvibes

There's a syndicated radio show that I listen to each morning. They take an annual trip to Disney with terminally ill children and their families. They always take the entire family b/c most often they have healthy siblings. And those siblings have to grow up so fast b/c of their ill brother or sister. Everytime they broadcast from Disney, or talk about it, or have the families and children do interviews, it makes me cry. The kids deserve it.

Wahhoooo SM!!!!! Sounds like you've got some bling too!!!!! Love it!!!!! You deserve it after 10 years!!!! And I bet you are looking forward to making that fun diamond decision in 5 years!!!!!

My one year anniversary present was a right hand diamond ring. And, trust me, Ryan said "Um, you better not expect this every year darling".... And I don't, but now I don't ever need any more rings, so I'm set! And it was a nice way to remember my first anniversary.

I guess I do have to keep up. I take a few minutes...okay hours probably to read Lesley's trip report from last year and y'all have gone crazy.

1. I would trade my wedding bands in any day now. I still love them but if I had the chance and the money, I think I would do away with the diamond engagement ring and diamond wedding band and just get 1 platinum 3 diamond ring. Aren't I the most sentimental gal you ever met?

2. Rob's wedding band is gold with a brushed gold center. Just had to get that in.

3. Our last trip to 50s wasn't that great and it was because we had a dud of a waitress. Oh that and Alec threw up during our meal - but at least it was outside the restaurant. Rob had enough sense to take him out when he was acting up a bit. Poor baby.

Let me leave you with this lovely picture of Alec at the beginning of dinner. Yes...he's picking his nose. I'm so proud!
