I pay $16/month ($192/year) for her. Her normal Dr appt with shots would be over $200 twice a year. They pay everything except meds for her. We have had to take her in 3 times for sick visits, 1 requiring 2 follow-up appts. Those are over $50 just for the office visit normally. According to my bill from yesterday, I have paid $250 so far (just got it a year ago) and it has saved me over $1000.

Thats a good deal then.

Welcome back JJ ;) . How do you sleep 5 there? I remember seeing the king in the BR and a pullout sofa, sleeping 2. Where does the 3rd sleep?

In the jacuzzi of course:lmao: Seriously though you have to bring bedding for the 3rd or rent a cot.

And you really thought it was your computer why you couldn't get back on the DIS???? :lmao: Thanks for the info. We have an inflatable twin mattress that would do the job...

DM - I went to Walmart and found the little fans.... thank you!!!!!
Wasn't it a bit of a pain to find them? Do you like them? I think they will be great for us. Some people on another thread think that they are too tiny but it's not like I am going to be spraying it all the time. Then, again, the kids might be...:confused3 :rotfl:

I rebooted the computer but maybe I need one too:rolleyes1

The twin matress would work out great. I have to tell you though you might have a hard time finding availability at the Epcot DVC's because it's so close to your trip but you could try it.

My kids all have those little fans. They love them & it keeps them occupied waiting on lines/transportation.

For our first trip I won a bid on ebay (and paid way too much) for those big water fans but never used it. Who needs that hanging around your neck in the heat. I always liked the tip of bring some ice & a washcloth in a ziploc. It's great for wiping down the kids faces and cools them off for a bit. We also try to travel thru the parks by the way of the stores. Disney knows how to crank up the AC!

How would I go about renting points for a cruise? I tried the calculators, but they only list resorts. How do you add tickets and DDP in WDW?

You would have to buy your tickets separately, either directly from Disney or from a discount reseller like Ticketmania. If you want to add the DDP to your reservation, the DVC member adds it to your reservation when he/she makes the reservation, and then you pay for it when you check in.

For me, it just works out best. You get to buy the discount tickets, get the DDP, and get deluxe accommodations for value/mod prices. (I'm staying 5 nights in a studio at SSR for $650 - can't beat that!)

I don't think I will look for this year. Just something to keep in mind for next time. I am fine with POR for this trip as we have everything all set up and paid for. I also like to really really do research on something before I dive into it. Unless it was a deal that I couldn't refuse...

.
singingmom- how is the wrist? Know how you feel, have two kids to run with to different activies and two school functions.

Dh hogs the computer playing Runescape from 3pm to 10pm, so no one in the house gets to play but him.

Just fine, thanks for asking. :goodvibes
That wasn't me with the wrist problem, Castaway! lol

I hope Star is ok. I worry about my dogs like children.Lucky you have insurance. With all the dogs we have had, we never got the insurance. I am just never sure if it would be a good investment or not. My neighbor got it, and figured it that it cost more for an insurance then her regular vet bills:confused3

My vet bills for shots and routine tests are usually around $300/year. Then last year she got an eye infection that took 2 visits, her face swelled once (spider bite), and she had some sort of infection and wouldn't eat or drink that required 3 visits. I was so thankful for the insurance then! I figure I come out ahead even if I don't have sick visits.

It would be cheaper to pay directly. The points are high for the cruises. I'm also guessing most will not rent points for cruises as once they do & the reservation is cancelled for some reason they owner can not use the points at a DVC resort. Only at other places outside WDW which can be difficult to get at the last minute.

Thanks. I have a great quote through AAA already, but am always looking for a bargain...

I am going to look into this next time we go. I figured that I could have stayed at BCV 1 bedroom for about the same price as CSR.

Okay I'm here, still got to do my paper for History but then I'm home free. :cool1:

I did my theater final, messed up a bit but no one knew the song I did so that was good. So there is an A for me.

Went and checked my ap grade and unless my eye sight is getting bad I think I got an A. She hasn't put up grades yet online yet so it's a wait and see.

I may also not be around some next Tuesday. I'm waiting for the official word from my best friend to see if she works, if not it's to Nashville for another Lady A show. :woohoo:

I did, I'm not sure how I'm feeling tonight. Phil has been my favorite so far with Blake second.

Good Morning everyone. I was just wondering, what are some things that you are looking forward to buying at WDW? and What souviners do you always get? Of course my kids can't wait to get pins and stuffed Mickeys. They always get a hat too. This year we are going to get pressed penny books and do that. We also are going to get Mr. Potato Heads and pieces for the twins. I always like to get a coffee cup for myself (not for coffee, but for tea or cappacino ?sp) and a key chain with the year on it. I always get a big photo album with the year on it too. My kids have been saving money all year, so I am sure they will get other stuff too.

thanks again for the help!!:thumbsup2
