I wanted people to SHOW ME why they were qualified- not blab a huge list of things in a boring voice over while showing me their pictures of trips they took and gigantic collections.
I wanted to see originality and Patrick has had it.
I guess I misunderstood the criteria.

I can't find these videos anymore but liked them- The one where the dad lights up the swing set in the end and his daughter is tinkerbell, or the Newscaster that I mentioned before with the "CNN" type scroll across the bottom, and there was another similar to Andy's with the animated characters helping him get ready for work and his pumpkin turned into his car. Maybe they made it? But where are all the ladies...

I would not be at all surprised to have those two in the top 20. However, I also echo DSNY4ever - - where are all the ladies? There were some wonderful female entries too.

Perhaps the women in our lives are actually accomplishing something with their time while us men are sitting here online??

Yeah, when I saw theat mostly guys had posted that they had gotten calls, I thought I had better chances since I am a girl (and yes I was the one with the little "inner Disney spirit fairy"!). But no... But I am sure they chose more than one girl. So far the girls' videos I liked, I know didn't make it. Anyone see any female videos that blew them away?

Thanks, yeah I was the one with the fairy on the bed. I'll have to tell my husband that you remembered his one line from my video. He was so nervous to be in it for that one second that he kept flubbing the line and we had to use the only clip where he got it right...haha!

I did see a cute video with a flight attendant, but I think she might have gotten disqualified shortly after because she had a ton of kids in it and I know you could only have kids if they were your own...and unless she had 20 kids, that did her in.

And haha I agree the women probably are keeping low and working with speech writers

*Here's another one (a lady) that I liked. It's fairly simple. (I was thinking it was going to be a boring laundry-list, but then I was pleasantly surprised.) She proved that she can motivate people to do silly things (for the sake of Disney). Oh, and did you catch that "Hidden Mickey" (Mouse Ears) at the end? I'm thinking this one should please both "camps," since it opens with a list of qualifications.

*Another woman: Again, it's simple but fun. You can tell she's really enjoying herself, though -- a necessary qualification for the C.M.O. "gig." ("You're going to have to call 'Pan on this one. I'm not doing it!" )

*I liked the flight attendant one, too, but I thought the same thing about the kids. 'Too bad, too, 'cause that segment sort of proved that she's not afraid to be silly in public. ('Gotta love that Mickey snowman magic, though.) Oh, and did you notice the lime green glasses? Do you think she's a DISer?

(Maybe I'm too easily amused! I do admit that -- for a lot of these -- the candidates would have to support their video entries with adequate proof of their qualifications during the written and interview portions of the process.)
