Conversation has dwindled a bit, so here's a bit for discussion. I entered an essay contest open to parents of small children last summer with hasbro. I placed 3rd and got a $100 gift certificate. Had to be 250 words or less.
Here's what they were looking for:

. My daughter plays with none other than the cunning Peter Pan and charming Wendy. She soars through the air atop a flying elephant with the mischievous Stitch, and rides with Cinderella upon a magical horse to a child’s fantasyland.
We share a delectable breakfast including Mickey shaped waffles in a place that takes us to the golden age of Hollywood, while she learns to tame a lion with the help of the world’s best circus clown. Through the eyes of a lovely princess we learn to see something beautiful in everyone, even the most hideous beast.
My little one and I will learn to “Catch that train,” “Get on the bus,” or choose the “right tool” as we sing, dance and maybe even get the Wiggles out at a great live Disney event geared just for her.
And what child wouldn’t dream of trick or treating dressed as Minnie? She and I will actually do this WITH Minnie Mouse.
As we end our marvelous day in the land of fairy-tales we dream in the awe-inspiring royal bedchamber that was designed for Cinderella to overlook her fantasy kingdom. From her window she sees Walt’s goodnight kiss celebrating her coronation as a true princess.
When we leave she’s not sad, she knows she’ll carry the magic with her forever. It’s an enchanting journey to begin a lifetime!"
