DISer chapter of NKOTB anonymous, part 3... still goin' strong!

I just ordered my tickets! My sister is going with me and this will be her first show since back in the day, so I'm very excited. Our seats are in the F1 section, row 7.

For some reason I was under the impression that they really don't do any songs from The Block this tour, but they do! I will miss One Song, but other than that I think it sounds great! Here's the complete setlist: http://perezhilton.com/2011-05-26-s...ck-tour-backstreet-boys-chicago-opening-night

Karen... hope I didn't offend you... I just meant I would go into it with a positive attitude about BSB.

Jenny... from what I have read, the only time they perform togther are the opening number and DTOTL. I cheated and watched a vid of the opener and it was really, really good. I won't say the two songs because I don't want to ruin it for anyone but they were two that I wasn't expecting and they are set to another bands music. Awesome! The other mashups are just for tv performances.

For me nothing will top the CasiNO Tour. Those were the 2 best shows I've seen from them and I had the most fun at. I'm where you are I think. No one will top NKOTB for me. Ever. But at the same time I don't feel like I need to like everything they do for the fear of them leaving again. I'm not a BSB fan. I don't know/like their songs. I don't have to go simply because NKOTB is involved.

LOL. We all have so many different opinions. I wasn't impressed by the CasiNO tour. I thought the shows were really short. Maybe it was just the one I went to. 1 hour and 15 minutes. Considering there was no opening act, I thought that was very short.

Heather - I read the set list, they're together the opening number, Larger Than Life (ugh I'm sorry but the N-K-O-T-B-S-B line is cooorrrrnnnnyyyy), DTOTL, and the encore is both of them in the mashup I mentioned before.

If I can sell the tickets great, if not I'll go. What else am I going to do with them ya know?

I agree about the CasiNO tour. It wasn't my favorite at all. For me, nothing will beat the Full Service tour, followed by the reunion tour. :)

I haven't read through the set list, but I have heard that NK & BSB are on stage for about two hours so if that is what they perform together, it isn't much, IMO.

Just wanted to report that my sister HATES BSB... I mean HATES them with everything in her. She went to see them Friday night in DC with my other sister and they had a blast. Said she even enjoyed BSB.

This is one of the reason I loved it so much! I hate opening acts for the most part. Just get on with what I paid for! I loved that they played the entire The Block album. My favorite performance was Lights Camera Action. I didn't care much for that song til I saw it live then I never "heard" it the same way again. I loved the casualness of it. And we heard Jon sing step 5 on the 20th anniversary of Step by Step.

I liked that there was no opening act but considering they played longer set lists when they DID have an opening act, I was like wth? :confused3 They charged the same price for a ticket but put on a shorter show. I felt jipped.

Completely forgot about them on the Today show. Ah well.

I'm contemplating selling my NKOTBSB tickets. I'm just not that into it and got them just cause I felt like I should be going. I saw the set list and all those slow songs in a row? Ugh. Plus, since the show is in Atlantic City, it will cost me a small fortune between a hotel, dinner, drinks, etc. I'm going to tweet that I'm looking to sell them so if you ladies can retweet, it'd be appreciated.

Are you still interested in selling your tickets? I might be interested...

Went to the show last night in Philly and had a wonderful time. I was never a fan of BSB but I thought they were pretty good. NKOTB as always were amazing. This was my 5th concert and I still love each one...Can't wait for the next one...
:goodvibes

went to NKOTBSB last night...I am a HUGE NKOTB but BSB was REALLY good! Jordin Sparks opened for them, had a GREAT time

Nope, sorry. I was persuaded into keeping them so I will be going after all. Just not doing the overnight, after parties, the whole night. Strictly cconcert only.

So, I was looking at the nkotbsb tour schedule and noticed they have the day off after the Columbus, OH concert and before the Indy concert. I wonder if they will stay the night at a Columbus hotel after the show or will get on the buses and come to Indy and stay at a hotel here? :confused3 A girl really needs to know in order to make some stalking plans! :lmao:

Tell me about it lol. I'm going to the indy show and I work at a hotel in indy that a lot of people stay at... beach boys, boys 2 men, zac brown band, just to name a few big ones from within the last year. I'm kinda hoping they stay at our hotel so I have the slightest chance of seeing them lol.

But... if i'm not working I will be out n' about trying to find them <3

I went to the concert at Mohegan and it was LONG!!! Almost too long.. they had 2 opener's I think. The concert started at 7:30, we got to our seats at 8:05 and Jordon Sparks just came on....someone said there was an opener to her...she played for about 20 minutes.. NKOTBSB started at 9 and played till 11:20!!!!

Well, at least you got your money's worth! Better than a really short concert.

Would it happen to be Canterbury? You need to send me a pm if you find out they are staying wherever you work! My sister and I are thinking about getting a room at the Hampton Inn right by the Fieldhouse just for convenience and fun.

Melody, they will head straight to Indy and spend the off day there if it is anything like other shows.

We have an off day before the San Antonio show. Not sure where to start stalking, too big of a city!

Just found this thread tonight! I am going with my sister to the concert here in Nashville on the 21st. So 10 days left! But I need prayers from you all. The tickets were her Christmas present. She will be 31 weeks pregnant tomorrow. She has been on bedrest since 26 weeks due to preterm labor. We are hoping to convince the doctors to let us take her anyway. I am an ob nurse, so I know the risk! But I am thinking if I can take her in a wheelchair and she doesn't climb a bunch of stairs, she should be okay. She will be 32 1/2 weeks by then. We get the official word from her OB Thursday. Trust me in that I want her to do what is best for her and the baby, but she's gonna be really bummed if she doesn't get to go. If she can't go her BFF from HS is going to take her ticket. It just won't be the same without her!

LOL. nope :-) If they do stay at our hotel, we are forced to sign confideniality aggreements and if we leak anything whatsoever they investigate and we lose our jobs. I love me some bsb but not that much where i could potentially lose my job over them lol

Not always, but a good amount of time big name artists/performers/athletes stay on the outter parts of the city where people wouldn't think they'd be. I'd check out circle center mall though throughout the day! A good friend of my fiancee was there last week when the glee cast was in town performing and they were there hanging out for a good chunk of the day keepin it low key supposedly. NKOTBSB would proooobably have security if they did that, but ya never know:-)
