Whoa... we have been unusually quiet! Is anyone out there?!?

Don't forget to set your DVR's this week. The guys are on Regis & Kelly on Thursday and The Today Show on Friday! Performing 2 in the Morning! My favorite!!!

I set it for Thursday. I wasn't sure what the date was for the Today show. When I looked at the info for Friday, it mentioned nothing about them! :confused3 Thanks for the reminder.

I know even with all these reminders, I will totally forget about those performances!
Yeah, it's been eerily quiet both here and on Facebook. We need some new jokes, events, something! The only excitement in my life right now is I get to book ADRs for my May trip next week.

What ADRS's are you going with, Angey?

Who has been to WDW in early September? Our 10th anniversary is 9/4 and Brian is trying to get home for R&R then. Looks like it should be possible and I am planning to go to WDW for a few days and take advantage of the awesome military specials... and surprising him and the girls! We were there last fall in September and it was HOT but fun. We will likely be there around Labor Day this time, how are the crowds that weekend?

On nkotb.com it says in the 10:00 hour, which means we will have to see them with Kathy Lee. I find her hard to deal with.

Well, since this is our "cheap trip," I'm not supposed to go overboard on ADRs. So far, the only "approved" one is O'Hana.
We have not been in almost five years, since they got rid of the tiger shrimp, fried rice and shrimp wontons ... I was boycotting them. But they did bring back the tiger shrimp and I can do with noodles.

If all else fails, drink lots of pineapples and you won't know what you are eating!:rotfl: I go to Ohana just for the cocktails in the pineapples!

Oh, YUCK! I don't know what is worse ... Kathy Lee or Hoda, who has to do this stupid finger-snap right above her shoulders while she sings along to EVERY song she hears. She drives me nuts.

It would be nice if one of the guys called Kathy Lee out on her "Old Men in the Gated Neighborhood."

That is funny because you know what is getting me back there? Lapu Lapu. Ah, great minds think alike.

That is what they are called! We even had Brian's parents drinking those things last time. All six adults were a bit tipsy heading to the Halloween party after eating at Ohana! I do like the food there as well. Brian and my brother-in-law thought it was the best meal of the trip... and we ate a lot on that trip!

Yeah, that sounds like us too! The whole family went to O'Hana before MVMCP ... and the night before our wedding. A few of us had some pineapples on the table. Yummo.

I've never been to Ohana! I was thinking about making an ADR there for my trip in the fall.

Has anyone been to the Hoop Dee Doo Review?

I've done the HDD, but last time I went, I was 15. Back in the day, if you were young, you had a choice of two drinks ... whole milk or water. YUCK!
I know it's not like that anymore, but that just left a bad taste in my mouth. Everyone I know that has gone in, let's say the last 16 years, loves it.

 I'd be ok with milk or water. I like both.

I've read that you get buckets of food and it's all served family style and all you can eat. I've heard nothing but rave reviews about it. Maybe I'll do that AND Ohana! :thumbsup2 I want to try different places. I tend to do the same ones over and over again.

I've been twice the week of Labor Day. As far as the crowds go - nonexistent!! Both times we were there then it was walk on. Longest wait was Peter Pan at about 20/25 mintues (go figure!) The heat is dang near unbearable though. Dear Lord it's hot. About 3 minutes after walking outside you're pretty much soaked thru and thru. But the crowds coupled with free dining made it all worth it. :thumbsup2 I'd go again at that time in a heartbeat!

ETA: I have been there on the Sunday and Monday of Labor Day but not the Friday or Saturday.

Why does Peter Pan always have a longer wait than any other ride in the park? Never fails. I've gone and walked right on the mountains and when I walk by Peter Pan, there's a 30+ min wait!

Thanks for the info, Karen! I am hoping to get an early flight on the Friday before Labor Day because that is our anniversary, go out to dinner that night and maybe hit a water park the next day, hopefully avoiding the crowds. We can start hitting the parks on Sunday and hopefully avoid the lines. We went last year around mid-September. My brother-in-law compared the heat to walking on the surface of the sun. It was definitely HOT! I thought the kids were actually going to melt while we were waiting for Block Party bash!

I tend to compare Southern heat to sticking your head in a fully heated oven ... make that your whole body. Hot and humid! :thumbsup2

Bring it on! I'm going at the end of September and considering my last trip to Florida (I was expecting nice warm weather and got 40-50 degrees everyday) I'm hoping it's nice and hot when I go this time!

Random:

I just checked just for laughs to see what kind of tickets to the Bossier City, LA Show I could get now that it is in a few weeks. REmember I bought my the day they went on sale.

Section 1
Row J
For $65 the same price I paid for section 5 Bow B. UGH -- I HATE when that happens!

Sorry, That was my random vent for the day!

Carry on ....
