Gems, I read where someone that was just at one of their concerts in the UK was told they would see them next Fall. Sounds promising!!

Well it looks like my friend and I are making an almost 7 hour drive from Long Island to Maine! I was having some regrets last night when I posted (mainly because I feel bad leaving my husband with the kids for the 5th time while I go see NKOTB), and also because I am already going to Foxwoods the Saturday after the Wed. NKOTB show to see Morrissey (quite a contrast, right?). So, I am leaving my dh all day Wed and Thurs, then I am leaving again to go to Foxwoods on Saturday and coming back Sunday.

If I wasn't married with 2 small kids, I wouldn't think twice. But I feel like I am being a little selfish doing all of this stuff. Then I realize that I am finally doing the 5*, and that you only live once, so I feel a little bit better today.

I agree. This is something I just started doing for myself over the last year. I make time with my friends so that I can have time where I am just me. I'm not mom or wife, I'm Shelby. I get to hang out without worrying about everyone else. You know? (well, I'm always a mom and a wife, but you know what I mean!)

I think it's important!! Go and have a BLAST!!!!

You know, something hit me today. I was driving in my car, by myself, and my IPod shuffled to Summertime. Then I started thinking of all those years of "IF NKOTB EVER got back together, I am SOOO there!" My friends and family used to laugh at me when I would say that too.

It's so cool to know it happened, and I kept my word!

Anyway, that's my gushing statement of the day. Back to the Super Bowl.

You know, I never thought they'd get back together. I never even entertained the thought. So for me, it was a HUGE, very pleasant surprise. I think they came back at just the right time.

I loved NKOTB when I was a kid, but never got to go to a concert or anything....then in October, my cousin (who is also my best friend) calls and says she is buying us tickets to the show in Charlotte on 10/30. I said okay, but didn't even know they were back together so I hadn't really thought much about it and hadn't heard any of the new stuff.
Well..............It was AMAZING!!! We got upgraded from nosebleeds to the floor and I swear they put crack in the beer or something! We are SO addicted now! We are going to the Orlando show 3/13 and I'm hoping that we can go to the Greenville,SC show 3/17. I can't afford the VIP stuff but just going at all is so exciting! Anyway...sorry to go on and on, I'm just SO excited to find this thread...I usually stay on the trip reports.
Oh, and I also used to love Jordan and am now totally a Donnie girl....he's so dirty hot it's not even funny!

I was the same way! My friend Sean & I used to talk about it all the time and he even said he'd come with me! He hasn't yet though...I'll have to talk him about it.

Does anyone remember that show on VH1 where they tried to get them back together?? Danny and Donnie wouldn't even appear on camera! And weren't they supposed to do a surprise song on the VMAs a few years back when Joey & Jordan had their singles out? At that time, I think Jon didn't want any part of it. It's cool to know they wouldn't do it if it wasn't all five of them on board. That being said, I was REALLY surprised that Jon agreed to it. But I'm glad he did!

I remember that VH1 special. Joey was all ticked off because they tricked him by telling him they were interviewing him about his new album. Does memory serve me correctly that he stormed out of the interview once they told him they basically had no interest in the album?

Joey McIntyre is next on their list. Fresh from a stint on Fox’s “Boston Public,” Joey is getting ready to star on Broadway in “Wicked” and seems jovial when he sits down with Aamer.
