Thanks for the hugs girls. He will be gone for 12 months. I am doing good and the girls seem to be doing pretty good, too. I had my weekend to sulk and now I am back among the living! I am so happy that NKOTB has come back when they did, it has been a welcome distraction! Now I am also busy planning a trip to see Jimmy Buffet since he announced his tour dates. Lots of fun concerts to look forward to!!!

Amy... I drove three hours to St Paul and three hours to Omaha, worth every minute!!!

Gems... I heard that you guys are getting hammered with snow! So unusual. When we lived in Germany we hardly got any snow for 6 years! I heard some one on the news say that the amount of snow in the UK is "once in a lifetime". Ick! Is it spring yet?!!

Anyone notice that over on the "other" board they have started a thread about what their babies with the guys would look like using the thing that we did months ago. Someone should tell that that is so yesterday. We did that ages ago. Some of those babies were funky looking over there.

As for Fresno, I would be all over it but I'm already going to Santa Barbara !(I haven't decided if I'm flying or driving) for the concert the next day. So I would have to either drive the 3 hours with my SIL and go to Fresno. Drive home that night and fly to SB in the morning to see the concert with my BFF from childhood. Or I could drive to Fresno and then SB is only 3-4 hours from there and drive to SB after the concert. I don't know what to do. If I was sane I would say no way.

Sanity is out the window when it comes to NKOTB. I have found myself plotting, scheming, stalking and doing all kinds of things that I normally would not do as a 33 year old!

Jimmy Buffet is touring?? I want to go to one of his shows! I went to Margaritaville practically ever night when I was at Universal in Nov and his concerts look like so much fun!

We got a lot more snow by my house then we did by the office. They're about 25-30 miles apart. I was hoping for at least a delayed opening but no such luck!

Heather, Jimmy Buffet is awesome in concert! I have seen him twice, once in an arena setting and once at Jazz Fest in New Orleans. My days of seeing him are long over because Jason cannot stand him. Argh!

Speaking of Jason, he got a strike against him the other night. I was talking about how it's weird how the paparazzi focuses on certain celebrities and not others, in their everyday lives. I said "Take for instance, one of the girls on the Dis, she sees Jordan Knight at their kids' Boy Scout meetings. You never see pics of him doing stuff like that, but if it was like, Brad Pitt, it would be all over the place." He then said (brace yourself), "Well, no one really outside of your NKOTB world really cares about Jordan Knight."

NO HE DID NOT!

But at least he said it jokingly to try to get a rise out of me, but still ... strike one!

It is so fun! I got to see him in Phoenix two years ago for the tour opener. Never before that had I seen tailgating at a concert! It was awesome. We had lawn seats and it was the best!!! We are probably going to see him in Chicago in August. So excited! Not NKOTB excited, but excited!!!

I decided that I am having a NKOTB party the Saturday night before the New Kids are in Des Moines. It is crazy how many people I know that are going to the show! Anyhoo, I am going to decorate the house with my old posters, encourage everyone to wear their old NKOTB stuff, pinch roll jeans and sport 80's hair. I think it is going to be so much fun!!! Might even make it a sleepover just so that it really feels like '89!!!

Speaking of those boards, I was just over there. I was reading one of the blogs, it said something like good morning Jordan girl I'm have a "day". So I read it some girl posted this block about how all she wanted to do was sit and listen and think about Jordan and have him tell her it was allright. She didn't want to worry about bills and kids and such. Sometimes she didn't want to "be" anymore. It was actually kind of sad. Some of those girls really take this to another level.

I gotta say I totally Jordan, but I am very much in love with my husband and I can totally handle life if I don't ever see them in concert again, although that won't happen. I really feel bad for people that really only have this to hold on to.

And "those" are the girls that are also not paying their bills or putting food on the table so that they can go to a concert or go on the cruise. I remember when the whole cruise was announced. One girl posted that she could either feed her family for a few months or go on the cruise. I followed her thread and she ended making a ressie for the cruise. It really is quite sad.

It's nice to know that we have a "normal" or as Angey calls us "classy" group of girls to talk about NKOTB with.

It is funny how we have taken something so small and ran with it. It all came from the NKOTB body art being called "a classy way to commemorate" on the other board.

What other things have we ran with? Boy Scouts, Twix ... what else?

We're some creative chicks! AND we are classy.
